Might as well get it over with......
What pet would be a good tame to get so I could hunt pickets with and get a good amount of exp per kill. Yeah yeah yeah, I know, I'm the one always preaching about the best way to grind is just to go out and hunt and have fun, but GEEZ!!! with the amount of xp they give ya per kill, the level IV boxes are MURDER! I'm like 30k away from my first level IV box and it's driving me batty, I'm almost a master swordsman, so the pickets ain't gonna be that hard, I hope.
So, anyone got and ideas?Oh, and please, keep the hypocrit comments to a minimum...my ego is bruised enough. lol

I'd like to sayCL 15, but that might be a bit TOO weak ... still, it should be 500 XP per kill at that level. UseCL 20, and it's 400 XP, plus you're a lot better off if your pet takes a hit. Maybe find a hunting group and hit higher-level creatures?

You know, Wallach, you could come on my Bull Rancor hunts and have your pet get its hits in. Money and XP, can't beat that...

I use a level 22(25) Grand Wrix and get about 740 per Picket Protector and 400 for the females. The lower levels, sub 15 CL, were giving me less XP. I do Quenker Relic Reapers instead of Pickets. They are also 740 per, do not spawn babies, and are all the same. In a small solo group, there are usually 4 per spawn. It works out to be about 3k more XP per lair over the Picket Protectors.

I had two boar wolves out last night hitting barakasets on dath. The exp was 400 to 600 per depending on barakaset type. This even allows you to go on those rancor hunts at the same time.

I know what you mean. I'm four boxes short of MCH... can't wait to get there. But until then... I've been using my Lvl 14 female swamp tusk cat while lvl'ing creature handler. she gets great xp, and is as tough as nails. keep your pet stims hotkeyed and you'll be fine. one trick is to go to fort tusken and run around, having your pet land one or two attacks per tusken that someone is fight and then move on. You will make barely any dent in the xp that they get, you won't steal their loot and you'll get full ch xp. you can try this is the geo cave as well, a little trickier there, your chance of dying is exponentially higher (so is your pets), squill cave is the same.

Yeah, I know the easy grind ways with Geo and Tusken Fort, I'm trying my hardest not to do that. I have always been a firm believer in enjoying the grind, and not making it a chore. I just recently started working on Swordsman, so I figured I would see if I could do both, unfortunatly my lowest leverl pet is leverl 20 and a dew back, decent resists, and I can ride it, but quickest xp right now is getting in solo group and nail quenkers, well, I have 0/4/1/3 so figured I could hit a couple pickets, just need to get me some pet stims. Unfortunatly, Qapla' is a bit slow compared to a cat, so I would have to ride him to the missions and not my speeder. Will just have to see how it goes.

I was fed up with CH for a long time not because i didn't like the skills but because it was taking me forever to master, then I discovered the Geo caves. It had taken me over 7 months to get xp over time up to 2-2-3-4, 3 days in the geo caves I had master.
The jedi there are taking care of the spawns, I just send my pet in and get about 900 or so xp per kill.
It was nice to get the xp part of Ch out of the way and get out and have some fun with my pets.
I used to be a go out and hunt person, but after 7 months I needed to master.

Hi, I just mastered CH myself -- In three days playing about4-5 hours per day. I went to the geonosian caves, getting 1200 xp per kill, and it was a good spawn rate. I went with a bolle bol that was bio engineered (I think) He has 10k Health 6k action and around 4-5k mind. Used him and took some pet stims that could heal 900 a time for each stat. Hope this helps..
