Yeah CH, unlike TKA, i'm trying to master without going to an uber spawn like tusken fort and just hit all the enemies. Since i am a hunter i just bring my pet along when i hunt banthas or tortons or kahrmurra's, etc and have it help me take them out. I use my CL16 female swamp tusk cat (Nova) and for some reason i always seem to get the maximum xp per kill with her - on bantha's, desert razorback's, ravenous tortons, and even huurton stalkers. My highest lvl pet right now is 34 and i have several pets in the 20's but i still always use Nova when i want the max XP. I wish we could figure out the formula for getting CH xp from a kill, lol.

By the way, Wallach. When I say Bull Rancor hunt, I mean I am looking for a Bull Rancor baby, meaning if you accidently get one killed, you're next

PS. Wallach, I'll be on tomorrow night if that's alright. And pretty much most the day Sunday and Monday. Be sure to bring pet stims and food. Bull Rancor's disease gives major wounds. Plus, when fighting a Bull Rancor specifically, be sure to say 13m's away while attack (special attacks will reach but basic attacks won't) so you will avoid the plague strike. I tend to take anywhere from 2-4 rancors at once, if you're ok with that...

Personaly i used GSP's against enraged rancors and got about 1200 to 1500 per ranc. i was hunting in a large group at that point, butas a master rifleman i know i could do it solo now. GSP's seem to last for ages agianst ER's too, but a plenty of pet stims is always advisable!

At that lvl there is no best truth is u might be better off with a bio pet
yea lvl 15 cowardly gurrecks arent bad but they wont last long if u need em against pickets, you might want to go to tantooine or naboo and run around taming and training evry baby you see, yes its boring lol but u may be able to raise your skills easier this way wwithout worrying about ur pet falling in battle.
At lvl 25 go to endor and get yourself a boar wolf, those lil guys r gr8 lvl25 50% kin protection. get 2 lol
then hunt to youer hearts content :-)
good luck

Actually, I was on talus this morning and Hell, it must have been spring time, cause I couldn't go more than 100 meters and I found a baby. got over 40k xp in just over an hour by traming/training and releasing. I was just getting a bit bummed, cause damn, it takes for ever with those level 4 boxes. But finally I am now 3/4/3/3 now, and working to get 3/4/3/4, so right now I'm getting 1600+ to 1700+ off taming and training, depending on if the critter has a special attack or not.
I appreciate all the feed back, like I was saying, I know all the quick trick, i.e. Squill caves, Geo Caves yadda yadda yadda, just try not to do that, but might have too, cause it's starting to be more of a chore than fun now with these last 3 boxes. Except today, cause I was actually having fun, I went to Talus to get a GSP and a Grand Wrix and wound up with all that xp.
I'm almost master swordsman, so I'm not too worried about the pets taking too much damage, so I'm pretty good there. They just hit as I'm at the end.
Epoch, unfortunatly, the only thing I have to hunt with right now that ain't a baby still is my Graul Mauler which is level 35 and my Toxic Battle Merrick that is leverl 45, don't think I would get 1000 xp off the rancors, but heck, I'll give it a shot if ya want, send me a tell on when and where to meet ya.

Tamed a ferocious kusak the other day, little guy is CL 21 with 30% kinetic...talk about taking a hit...he tanks perlek lairs all by his lonesome and doesn't get down to half health, so I'm pretty sure a piket wouldn't take one out in one shot.

WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!
Hey, I ain't master yet, but I"m 2 boxes closer than I was when I posted this.
I want to say thanks to the guys out there with your ideas, and a special thanks to Echobe for getting me almost to Management IV.
Here's what I did, and I didn't use any of the get quick rich schemes used by all (I'm not downing them, it's just not the way for me.) When I was whining and bitching about taking so long, someone suggested a Wrix, someone suggested a GSP and a Kuzak. Well, here's what I did, I packed up all I could, went to Talus and started running around from town to town looking for a GSP. And in the interm of looking for it, I went from needing 40k to get level to actually leveling, cause I found babies galore. Today, I did the same thing, looking for my wrix. not only did I tame babies, but I used Pizzant, my GSP and started getting xp, by the end of the day, I was close, then saw Echobe on line. I teamed up with him to go after rancors and got to where I needed just over 10k.
He had to jet, so I stayed a bit longer. A Malkloc land a Bragaset (I think that's what they were) lair later, I was 5k away, I trained 3 babies and BAM! Creature Management IV. Not only that, but I got me a new mount, and a reptilian flier!!!
Unfortunatly, I'm gonna have to let Echobe kill me6 or 7 times for killing that baby bull rancor when it popped.

Har har. I almost **edit** myself when I read that, then I read the last post and felt better. Whew. Was fun by the way. Sorry I had to go and for not being very talkative. Glad it helped a little though. Soon you'll have Rancors and other fun stuff...
