I know from all the buzz about Jedi doing that mind trick to are pets that make them kill us and no pets being lightsabor defence. so here is my idea.
for a long time we have wanted all pets lv 70 and below to be tameable and hopefully we will get that again.. but here is my idea what if we get pets that use the force in a way and im taking this following info from star wars Databank.
the ysalamiri are among the most bizarre creatures of the galaxy. As part of a defensive mechanism that protects them from Force-sensitive pack animals called vornskrs, the ysalamiri have developed the unusual ability to "push back" the Force. A single ysalamiri creates a bubble in which the Force cannot be manipulated. In groups, the size of the bubble increases.

The native ysalamiri have the singular ability to push back the Force. Their presence creates a bubble wherein the Force doesn't exist. A Jedi trapped in an ysalamiri's presence cannot tap the mystical energy field that defines her abilities.
My idea is tomake this a defence pet for MCH. the idea is to make us immune to the force "but NOT LIGHTSABORS" also if we get close enoght to a jedi they couldn't use there force powers "NO MORE FORCE RUN 3" ( i hear that has been a prob).
The other pet is from the same planet (like in the wild prey and Pred.)
though the sleek and agile vornskrs exhibit a predisposition to attack Force-sensitives.
Force-sensitive pack animals called vornskrs i woudl say would be the other side of the Coin for a MCH. the idea of having a pet that has the abiltity to track a jedi down and have some resist to force powers would be nice but again "NOT LIGHTSABORS" . I also see its stats being like a GPS only on super Crack.
both pets shoudl be quest items and only For MCH to get. also by setting there lv to 70 would make us pick do we want to attack or defend giving us a place in the new Jedi system where now we are worth points to the jedi this would be a nice way of giving us an elite "weapon" like the rifleman, pistoleer, carbine. types have now.
its just my idea plz let me know what you think and comments will be nice....also if you do like plz sign if we get enough buzz on this it migh just happen

This was commented on before by TH The thread was deleated because it was part of the roundtable discussions but his response was basically:
Those creatures were not discovered till the Thrawn Trilogy 5 years after RTOJ. Seeing this takes place after ANH there is no place for them as they have not yet been discovered.
However since then Battledroids that are more powerful than Kryats have been introduced into the game (tell me when you saw a battledroid in the original Trilogy aside form IG-88). SO their reference to staying true to the time period went out the window.

I am for this %10000000000000000000000000000000 with you. With the recent changes to the BH skill requirements I have decided to pursue the path of a MBH/MCH, and at the moment my CH side doesn't help very much against jedi. And if they say they don't want to "bend the immersion rules" they can kiss any respectability they ever had goodbye because the 100 jedi's i seedueling everytime I go to coronet has damaged the immersion factor a billion times more than a few ch's having a force protected pet.

thank you for your support. and i agree i just logged in to see two jedi fight in the starport my self and use there force run and other force powers and not get a TEF. they need a reason to go back into hiding and i think my idea for force pets would do that. just think they try to force run 3 into a starport to jump someone then nothing no powers not fast attacks just them and there sabor. that would lower there odds in winning let alone makeing it out alive and i don't even have to fight just have my little newt like guy on my shoulder. but im all for fairness they should get a warning when they get close to someone with a pet like that. like "you feel strange your connection to the force grows weaker." but plz dont' let this threed die we need some thing to make us a danager. i don't want to be a super power but the idea of a MCH used to scare me back at the start of the game. i would like to make a jedi keep looking over there shoulder if he was to see 3 MCH and a MBH in a start port all grouped up.
plz keep the comments coming i want to hear all sides on what you think on this idea good and bad.
the ony way we can learn is by talking out all ops of a idea

I think this idea would warrant many a flame/nerf cries from jedi and wanna be jedi, and becuase it is a good idea aimed at making CH more effective it will probably never even see the drawing board. Inspite of that, I think it's a great idea. Anything to bring CH back into the game asa useful profession needs some attention. I'm not personally looking to hunt down jedi...but a small advantage as this might be enough for BH's to hire us out as grouping companions giving CH the potential to earn money again...lets face it, training peoples pets doesnt pay squat, and I rarely ever get requests to go tame something anymore now that BE's can make the uber pets.
I am in support of this idea 100%.

its certainly something to be considered sometime, even if we cant address this right away, we should save this thread somewhere so we can come back to it. once all the other CH stuff is fixed, this could easily give us the boost we need to be, well, GOOD!

its means alot to me to see the support you guys/ladies have given me and my idea. i know it has been on the boards for awhile asking for something to counter act force powers. here is my next question say we do get enough support and get are wish (cross fingers and wishes really really hard) what would the stats be on the force pets???
ysalamiri i truly see as being just a defence pet. one that just sits on your shoulder and makeing cute sounds but is very easy to hear. kinda like a 2nd warning to jedi that they might not want to get near you.
no really stats on it just a shield like pet. and when you get incapped it hides (goes back into your data pad)
vornskrs I see as i said before as being GPS on super crack. i would say 12k ham is not out of range for a lv 70 pet with immunities to some if not most force powers but the most extreme. say force lighting, and force choke but at a reduced damage. i mean we are talking about an animal that uses the force to hunt i would find it hard to belive that it couldn't dodge some of the force powers being throw at it. but in your eyes what kinda stats would you like to see on it if you were able to create it.
and as always im open to comments good or bad.
