It could just be my bad counting but I counted a total of 16 "Combat" professions including CH and SL. But TH said

Will the combat revamp include the jedi profession or just the normal professions?

Just the 14 combat professions.

So that means 2 of the above mentioned combat professions are gonna be getting left out for the most part. I'll give you 2 guesses as to which professions those are.

1. CH. We were already "balanced"

2. TK. Because if you make them have to actually try all the fanboys will quit

I think youll be given a screen at login that will let you reallocate used skillpoints into your different professions

Aakh it seems to me that once this is done everyone will get a one time shot to change their character to what they want it to be. So if people dropped CH a year ago they can come back. At first I was thinking that was cool. But it is insta FOTM for many if there is not balance.

This really bothers me as well that I have held on and others could become MCH again over nite. I deserve the right to watch them climb again. I do not mean to soapbox but jeez this has been a long wait, a not so rich wait. And there will be 100's of new masters overnight.

We'll see. I really don't understand why it would be necessary to give people a one time "blue frog" to mastery of anything.

I just hope I am wrong. Maybe it is for something you already hold Novice in, but that will only make people drop master in something to pick up novice in what they thing they will switch.

Pluto

I believe he said you can change the skill boxes on a one time shot, so you would ned to be a master of something else and change those boxes over.

so at least new people would only be effected from what skills they have attained

and considering it will im sure draw changes unwelcomed by some it may be a benefit also

lets say my rifleman is changed to the point it doesnt work as well with ch, but swordsman is now a better match, (alsways wanted to go back to swordsman) then I could switch skill boxes.. to me its not a matter of easy master status, its in this case not being punished by more grinding wich in my case i'm so very tired of lol so I am going to welcome it lol
