I'm out of it for a little while and everyone gets delusions of grandeur....

seriously... when is this supposed event going to happen?

I agree with Pluto, it would suck if people were allowed to become MCH overnight - some of us have spent a heck of a long time getting there (I'm still not quite there due to my refusal to grind).

The ranger corr said that rangers aren't getting much in the combat upgrade or whatever awhile ago, so don't count it on the list.

Well as strange as this sounds I agree with pluto.

Those that dropped MCH should have to regrind it (just like me). They shouldn't just get a 1 time chance to create a UBER template.

I had some fun with TKM but I missed my pets.

BTW thanks again pluto for the help the other night, willing to lend some more help later?

I am gonna be tied up until after the election since the Osama decided to show his face, but after that I should be free.

VERY soon.

The sandbox people are already talking amongst themselves about the design documents. Actual testing is probably only a week away, tops, from what I've seen, without violating the NDA, because I've seen no definitive date offered, but just from the feel of the discussion.

The devs are moving on this.

Tazz vonMannstein Baron-Administrator of Corellia, master navigator of Corellia, captain of the Gregarious Gurreck

Sio Babble MBH/MCH/Cabana Boy; master of Tyson, the GNORT OF DEATH

Jeffn Akbar Nerfed from here to Lok MD/MCM

Zanti Agaesia Bothan MBE, 12 point Master Chef, Havoc Squadron Ace pilot

I'm kind of sad I had to relinquish my Sandbox position due to leaving the game (no, I was not a CH pick before anyone worries). Ironic that this happens two days after my account ran out...

I hope it goes well for the handlers. Open beta should be interesting since I'll finally know how things worked out.

hmmm never thought of it that way Talon

thought of it from a I hate grinding postion lol

from the uber template position I have to admit, if in the new system there is one and to be honest it will be hard not to develop a combat profession that isnt a litle better than another.

uber templates are a probelem in the game and if in the least it can be delayed for a few months than have everyone instantly be IT. I officially change my vote lol

damn figured lol why cant i ever be happy here lol joking

change my vote to no instant uber

Talon,

I am always willing to help as long as I am logged in. I am so sorry i got us killed. Too much on my mind of late.

Tuesday someone shot my dog, breaking its back and I had to put him down, Thursday my wife's uncle died. Friday I turned 37, and today (Saturday) I have 5 months sobriety. # seemingly bad things and I still sweated bullets to get that 5th month.

I won't even drink Jawa Beer ingame.

When I first read TH's post the first thing I thought of was being able to get my 4440 doc to master without crafting (I hate crafting grinds, playing tic-tac-toe is more enjoyable imho).I am sure a lot of people thought similar things, but it is not a fair system on everyone who has done the profession the 'proper' way.

I am currently an ex-ch because after many months I had had enough of being useless in the game, howeverI don't believe anyone should get skills for free. The only compromise I could see is possibly let people that have already mastered something get a small xp increase as they level(I believe the space expansion has something like that already in it).

elneckio,

My problem is that people left for a reason. Maybe they could not stomach the changes. But it should not be a free pass back. Now if they can program the game to recognize Master Badges and give a 25% XP bonus, it would be a great compromise.

I'm hoping this all just means that if one has x number of skill points in a given combat prof and somehow during the combat upgrade the skills thatone had before have been moved to a different tree of said prof, that one could reallocate x skill points to the different tree...

That is: a 4032 rifleman may want to change to 4401

This is my thinking, tho I'm still a bit of a noob....so hopefully no free xp will be granted, just a one time chance to move the xp around a bit.

How different types of xp within a prof (in this case rifle weapons xp and combat xp) would work I don't know.

agree that getting your boxes by playing and grinding is the only fair way.
