I can't tame anything, I'm only a Novice CH, but The only thing I can successful is a womp rat, and a rockmite. I try and tame an Eopie, a Dune Bantha, a Kreetle, aRonto, and some other things, and it says I can't tame it. Is my level too low?

Some eeopies may be too high, dune bantha is certainly, i'm pretty sure all rontos are, kreetles are not but they are aggro.

Sounds like you're on Tatooine so... At novice with nothing else you can tame cupas, plain banthas, zucca boars, various mites, nunas, rills, womp rats. Not much else. Best Tatooine pets for you are, in my opinion, cupa, zucca boar and rock beetle although some of the other bugs are pretty sturdy, too.

Also, if it's something you know you should be able to tame try using the tame macro rather than the radial or the other way around. Especially if it's laggy I'll get that message and keep trying and eventually it decides to let me try.

Worts! I forgot worts! They are abundant and babies are easy to find. Never used one for anything but tame and release but they do have a great trick once you get to train that.

There may be a few others I'm forgetting but not many I hope.

Hit Ctrl-A, click on the tab that says "other." There's an icon there with "tame" next to it. Drag the icon to your hot bar. Sometimes radial works better, sometimes this does. This does better if radials are taking a long time to settle. Remember to use follow to stay close to the baby. The other thing that will give you that error is if you have already started a tame session but don't get any feedback that you have, another thing that can happen when radials aren't settling well.

How many things do you already have tamed? You may be at your limit.

No-one else has, but I'll state the obvious incase it's been overlookedor it isn't clear. Only babies can be tamed. You are taming babies, right?

I am also a novice with no boxs and I have tamed:

Wort - realy crap full grown 200 HAM I wouldn't bother
Dwarf Nuna - crap fully grown I think 150

Everything else 750 fully grown and they are

Jutland eopie
zucca boar
womp rat
mound mite

I also tried a rock mite mite (or is it a rock beetle) but got the you cant tame that message
I dont have master scout so I cant see the CL, that has got to be the most annoying and stupid thing about CH at least tell me what I can tame before I try it!

All the numbers above are from memory so they might b a little off

My favorite novice pet is a Mountain Krevol from Naboo. It has level 14, 2.2k HAM, 30% kinetic resistance and is one of the few novice pets with light armor (AR1).

I found my pet a good way sw of Lake Retreat in the mountains. Mountain Krevols are not aggressive and are not killers. But they herd if attacked.

One other thing can someone tell me if I understand this right, at novice I have +5 taming wild creatures does this mean I can only tame CL 5 no aggro creatures? and at tameing 2 I''ll have +25 wild and +10 vocious. So does that mean I can tame 25CL no aggro and 10CL aggro?
