I grabbed a wild Craggy Bolma a week ago. It was cl50. Today when I pulled itout, itwas cl70 with 9k ham and 420-520 damage. It tanked a giant canyon krayt into the dust for me. It was out hitting me by just a little, but it was enough to hold the aggroe. I'll take those kinds of mistakes all day long.

so I found something interesting.
I have a BE'ed ranocr made in August of 03
11k ham 570-590 damage old stats
current stats
11K HAM 570-590
It never converted. 3 Jedi dueled it and all lost, I went PvP'ing with it and kicked a$$
and it is still ranked Lvl 50 and easily tanks level 70
guess they never figured anyone would have BE pets that old ROFL.
Um joker want a kick ass rancor when I leave

that doesnt mean it wont get converted, i thought one of my BE pets slipped through the cracks then one day i got a suprise pop up when calling it the other day "convert level or covert stats" all im saying is be warned that it can happen.

it's a 1st gen BE pet back when be's could only make them as good as their wild counterparts.
I don't doubt that it could happen, but ya never know, it may slip through the cracks, it is probably the only one on the server left from then.

I think that you need to look at that rancor again. I have one of those. It got it's rear handed to it by about five different CL 40 creatures in game. Sure it has 12k health, but it seems to have NO resists. My CL 50 Cu Pa does a MUCH better job of tanking. The health drains in a 1:1 manner rather than having any amount of resist. Not sure if I can continue to use it...

The BE Bol I had was awesome, made before Dec. 03 and he got caught.....makes me mad because I upped his level and lost him...a 174 now.

How about a natural Gurreck & Rancor (both lvl 50) pre-nerf pets with similar stats. They do something like 300-500 dmg per second.
They are simply awesome for tanking since they do more dmg than I do, but then again, they take away from my xp so gotta give and take.

I also have a rancor that close to that....and he is right ..
one on one he is a beast i have been NS hunting and have killed uo to level 95...
BUT! for some reason he will not attack another rancor...lol
I have to use my maul for that....

Guess that mine is just not that great. The health bar literally goes down in a steady stream until he's incapped. The Cu Pa seems to have some resists. The Rancor DOES do 670-690 damage before he goes down though.

I do hope they let some of us old timers keep our favorite pets that we have been covetting for years. We held on through the creature rebalance and here we are. My rancor, Roger, has 12.3k ham and 725 max damage, duel anyone?
