It is the same with any pet.. it will not attack a creature of the same skin type. This is true for both wild and BE made creatures.

I used to love usingmy gurrecks to hunt on Endor... but nope denied now... so now everyone else comes out to play... I guess there will be new favorites for each type of creature hunted.

I have two similiar BE rancs. They are brutal. One of them duelled a guild jedi and it was nice little fight.

YES! WTH is up with that? Mine wont attack other rancors either. I noticed that, and my BE rancors can kick the @#!@ out of most mobs.

Yeah my plains hunter wouldnt attack the wild plains hunter I found to try to see if a baby would spawn.. (day of the CU) Was funny I Spammed a all he did was make the motion like he was gunna attack then he would just stand again.

i thought it was just mental problems with my merek...wouldnt attack some blood stained mereks for me

Ahh i still have my first Rancor ever tamed and honestly its still appears to be my best pet. CL 50 with 11k HAM and 600 dmg. For some reason it tanks better than my 60+ pets. Not complaining cause i love the guy for sentimental reasons. Jst hope he doesn;t get nerfed

I have a couple of these as well...

My suggestion to you would be to use them in PvE only and not sell them.

As it stands only old creature handlers have them and if they don't use them to run around ganking people they will probably be left in.

...so don't run around killing Jedi with them.
