Yes, it is non working, it doesn't flash over the pets head, so it's not a callable attack, just like the poisons, diseases, AoE's etc. If it's not an attack that flashes over the pets head, IE: +Stun Strike+ or what have you, in orange, it won't work on command. Now I have a question for you, what does crippling strike do? and is it a callable attack? I am so eager to try my rhoa kwi pack leader in a duel, I just need to find a clvl 20 pet with posture down to use with him.

a rhoa kwi pack leader has posture down and dizzy. it is VERY effective. off hand i dont know which is which i go off the info listed at swgcreatures.com.
but things that dont flash over their heads do work. my BE gurreck can disease on command. i currently dont think i have a wild pet that has a KD to test it.
but pet special effects SEEM to be linked to the CL level of said pet in effectiveness. players also have a CL level and i think a player special is linked to that as well but im not sure. its just speculation based off of limited observation. but i DO know that my rhoa kwi packleader can land a dizzy on a nite sister more effectively than i could as a TKM.
ill tame the next baby i find that has a KD and test it out. patch 8 fixed a lot of stuff that was supposed to be working in a previous patch. they dont list such things when they make those changes. so it wouldnt surprise me that prior non working specials are now working as intended.
How long has disease been working for you Barb? It hasn't been for most people, along with poison and knockdown. Maybe it is recently fixed, in which case the devs yet again lost a way to get some much needed publicity with us.

its been working since pub7. my BE gurreck is made with BMB DNA and it only one disease special cam across. it irritates me when it diseases something because that something tends to fixate on my pet too much. normally i dont command the disease to go off but i have used the looping specials macro to set it off on command.
generally what the devs do when they code something to work and it is supposed to be working but doesnt like with the original patch that made most of the pet specials work in pub 5 or 6 (cant remember exactly which) and it doesnt fully work they will include the little bit of code to fix a minor bug without telling anyone. to us it is a major bug to them it is a typo in the code that someone fixed. unless the correspondent makes a huge stink about it these sorts of fixes generally dont get reported in the patch notes. or if it was it was removed because whomever edits the notes thought it was a bug that was fixed a while back and was entered in error so it goes un-noted.
but that is why i asked you if you had tried it post pub 8. just cuz the disease works doesnt mean the rest arent or are. we need to test each one and its going to take more than me to do it. especially the area effect attacks such as bull rancor plague strikes and the frenzied graul bleeds. since we do know that wild pets and BE pets are NOT the same even a one for one clone when anyone does a test please state what DNA was used if you know or just unknown DNA for BE clones. for wild pets pet name is sufficient.
The ranged attacks on all creatures, wild and BE, tamed and untamed, seem to be back, so we'll have to reevaluate all this, but we still have the issue of the specials not showing up in the combat spam, only appearing over critter heads which requres paying attention to combat.
The ranged attacks were working for BE pets in the toggle mode prior to pub 8. Haven' t had a chance to play with them since pub 8 came out, but will try this weekend.

Disease is not working on command. Nor is poison or KD. It's luck if your getting it when you want it barb.

If you are being sarcastic, I can make a fraps video of me spamming my special attack macro, and poison and disease will not hit once. If you aren't, then your welcome.
