I figured this was the best place to put this question. I am mainly a BH but have some CH skills, so it doesn't have to be a Non-CH mount. Which is fastest? How fast are the Non-Ch Bols?

What is the fastest mount,period. I have CH skills.

Well my giant carrion spat has the weird bug of being stuck in gallop once i run the /gallop cammand. So he is the fastest. Period =]

In a very limited test while mounts were on TC, several of use tried the 6 provided mounts. It seemed to us the Carrion Spat was fastests sprinter with both normal and gallopwith Kaadu very close second.

We did not have the chance to gauge water speed, terrain negotiation or pet levels as they relate to speed. Also these were the default six, lvl10 pets on TC. Of course there areseveral more specific mount species than those six.

I'm riding a Giant Carrion Spat that's lvl 4 if anyone wants to host some races to test them on Ahazi.

I proposed to the Mayor of Lake Destiny (new player town E of Keren on Ahazi) that we hold a Lake Destiny Derby and put some mounts through their paces.

The bagarasets and humbabas (haven't tested a falumpaset yet) are pretty slow compared to the spats and kaadus. My dew was keeping up pretty well with guildmates on spats last night on Dantooine as we ran across the countryside.

I can confirm that if you're on a dew, you will outrun a wookiee. Easily.

Er...I meant "brakasets" in the last post. Bagarasets cannot be turned into mounts. I confirmed this with an adult bagaraset this morning.

Why not set up a races. You can do a race like from Anchorhead around Wayfar and back. All you would need is someone at Wayfar to make sure no one cheats. You can make participants pay 10k to race and who ever wins gets the entry fee. I'm sure you can even find some people to be bookies to give people a place to put down a bet. Run it just like you would a real horse race. Who knows if it takes off maybe the Devs will create something so BE can breed mounts for racing.

Squad leaders can also issue the retreat command, and the mounts speed up and MOVE! Even the somewhat plodding dews. Had an SL grouped with me last night, he was the only one without a mount, and he said that we just shot by from his perspective when he gave the command.

I love my Brakaset. I wonder if it just doesn't gallop, ot if its alway on gallop, because there is no diff with the animation. But i raced a new born Giant Carrion spat and a kaddu with my brak. It looked like the kaddu just jetted right buy me, i think it was on gallop and so was i. The carrion spat seemed to run at the same speed as the brak, but im not sure if he was galloping.

Long story short---- i think the kaddu is the fastest

What creature are the fastest as a mode of transportation? Are they only CH or non CH?

general concen sus is the Kaadu (and you cna get a non-ch one fomr a bio engineer, the non-ch wild kaadu was in a blinding flash of inspiriation(please replace this word how you see fit) made extinct
