try a bantha then switch to a kaadu belive me you'll notice the difference
i've tried most all of them..never really noticed a speed difference..sure it feels faster on a small mounts opposed to a savage humbaba, but it seems to take the same time to get anywhere....
someone needs to set up organized mount races, with little rodian jockeys...could take bets and skim some "juice" for the house....could also pit baz nitches against each other in organized cockfighting(only to incap..no db for the p.e.t.a. people
. )..hmmm new profession "bookie"..lol..could be a fun way to make some ch money

the karger bulkier mounts are slower when you just run but the can /gallop for a much longer time. It what you prefer, stamina or speed. I prefer stamina and use a Dewback.

hm, I always had the impression that the giant carrion spat was the fastest. though its a toss up between that and the wasteland cu pa for coolest.

well, the giant carrion spat is the fastest mount. Back when they came out, we tested them and the giant spat was clearly the fastest. So I do believe he is right, but it has been so long, I could be wrong.

I may be completely wrong but... I think the Giant Carrion Spat was the fastest untill devs included the Kaadu at a later patch. Am I lost?

maybe if I get bored later i'll stage a race. Either way I think I'd stick with the Carrion Spat. Nothing like bashing your head off of the arches in Coronet as you meander through the city *duck*

Well, they both came out the day mounts were introduced. I was always under the assumption that a giant spat was faster, and much cooler looking too.

i am capable of keeping the distance to a giant carrion spat on my cupa so i guess the assumption those three kinds of pets (cupa, kaadu and carrion) do have the same speed is correct.
as far as i know there has been some kind of pet-race on farstar long time ago and a dewback won...but i think that was held with people mounting their pets and running from one wp to another one, not with simply telling 2 pets to follow a target like a mission terminal and see who gets there first.

I can outpace my peers on a giant carrion spat easily walking or running, on a giant carrion spat. As far as looks go, I like the GCS better also since it reminds me of those things they rode in "The Dark Crystal" As far as favorite rideable pets go..hmm Probably a toss-up between the spat and the bol.

So far, I've raced cu pas, kaadus and carrion spats against each other. Spats and kaadus are equally fast, and are able to outrun cu pas. While cu pas look like they're running faster, their legs are shorter, and you will see the others rapidly pull ahead of them.
