Normally when I give the command for my pet to do a trick it heals it's mind wounds. Since the latest patches it hasn't been working. One of my pets it getting in pretty bad shape in the mind area and I just can't seem to do anything about it
Anyone else having this issue?

Odd, my pets are doing their tricks fine. Perhaps you accidentaly taught it the command in one case and said it in another? Its case sensitive for some reason. Have you tried re-teaching it t1 or t2 and trying it again?

Actually, I've noticed my pet doing trick1 by itself during battles too... but it still doesn't heal mind wounds. Hopefully figure this out soon

Yeah, pet trick has been working for me lately (both on Bria and Test Center). When you experience this problem, are you in a very laggy region? Is the pet a mount?

Mounts seem to be prone to delayed visual indication of healing (the bar doens't update fast right after you issue the trick) at times. My other pets respond normally but I'm someone who heals them up right after a battle so they don't stay in a wounded/damaged state for long.

Yestrick has been working for me as well,
The only thing i notice is the random trick1 at the whim of the pet during combat situations. this happening with my tamed, unmounted, full grown giant spat. However this has only happened once tonight. still attempting to narrow its cause down for a possible /bug.

sometimes with pets, the bars dont update themselves when you heal them. I used pet stims on them, it says I heal the pet, but the bar doesnt change. What I did to fix this was to use follow...for some reason the bars updated when I used it.
Hope this helps some

I noticed while getting xp this weekend, that my pet would out of nowhere do trick 1 while in combat. It happened about 3 times that i can remember. I will be testing to see if i can recreate this due to me using both quickbar macros and/or typed commands throughout the day.

My CH is on Bria too Vert
It's not a mount, it's my normal experience hunting pet, a razor cat. The problem has been happening mostly around Sweet Water on Dantooine, so it is more of a lag fest. I managed to get trick to work yesterday for the first time in a while and I happened to be in Sweet Water. Unfortuneately I gave up hunting after my pet was having the "oh, my tamer healed me, but it doesn't update my health issue"... followed by "oh, wouldn't it be fun to auto store right in the middle of a fight with a couple graul maulers so my tamer that has next to no combat skills dies"

I have experience no problems with pet tricks. All mine are trained for both trick 1 and 2, and they work fine.
If I tell them to do it in battle the first tell just work like follow command (they stop attacking and come to me). I have to issue it a second time to get them to perform the trick.
But it has always healed them with no problems. None of my pets are under 90 vitality.
Good luck on identifing the problem.

Yeah, auto-storing and other eccentric behavior could possiblybe aggravated by heavy lag if you're fighting in a place like Dantooine. If this is happening to you all the time, you may want to try hunting on a less laggy planet for just one night to see what happens. That at least might help further clarify whether this is a lag-related issue.
