Whenevr my pet is in battle it may do trick 1 but only to heal itslef. It is very weird. My pet has this sense of self-preservation i guess would be the correct term. Whenever it's health or mind or action gets into one tenth of it's maximum, it either runs off, or heals it's mind on its own. It is a very strange pet I have (BE gurrcat level 14). But Maybe some food you fed your pet made it act that way, or it has the same quirk mine does. Maybe it's just a bug.
