Also, while I in no way support eliminating CH or the twitch based changes, I should point out that the profession rankings tree is a relative scale. It is possible for CH to account for less than 1% of players AND be one of the higher ranked professions. All that requires is for everyone under CH to have fewer members, and for the top professions to account for virtually all the players.
I would say that would be the case if CH hadn't beaten all Jedi trees and I am sure you have seen a few Jedi's lately.
SOE's new business plan is one that operates completely on lies and deceit. I will never take anything any of their employees say at face value again. Not only that, but their logic is completely backwards. Let me spell it out:
Problem: "Today our player professions by percent of masters is significantly skewed to the core combat professions as a very small proportion of our player (less than 1% of players) choose to master the professions of Bio Engineer or Creature Handler" (copied and pasted from FAQ)
Common sense solution: Make the less popular professions more attractive by listening to user feedback and implementing changes for those professions.
SOE solution: Remove less popular professions.
If I worked for this company I would quit out of embarrasment.

Thx Ry
OMG how sweet are you!
Tiggs.....1%?! LIAR!! I was asked an hour ago, in game by a player, advice on becoming Creature Handler.
Can you imagine how I felt explaining to them that CH was about to be totally removed from the game, along with many other profs?!
I'd like to ask both on their behalf and from myself.....WHY??
I did as you asked I went there and posted, I also answered the question of why
They are all a bunch of liars. no exceptions, they all knew.
