Thread: Seems that CH isn't as unpopular as Tiggs says
CH isn't being shelved completly- The devs are just putting it on the shelf until they have a good way to implement it rather than put a broken class into the new system.
It would be nice if SOE would come out and say that, if in fact it is true. And assuming what you were told is the truth, how do you know they weren't lying to you? Lying seems to be about the only thing SOE is doing well this week,

may you serve your masters aswell in the future as you serve them now.
I can see CH working and fitting in.

If anything CH's should of been able to mount them and control(Command) them while mounted.
Executation Arena Creatures like in EP IIand Rancors could of been mounted and commanded to fight essentially Making the CH a lvl 80.
Having a assortment of creatures would even make it a versatile proffession.

I was on a little break when the new ch changes appeared. I started playing only recently. In 2-3 days i absorbed the new rules, and i really liked them. I started gathering abilities like crazy. Also, i was considering dropping my 2nd master prof, and go for BE. And now this...
My first move was to change my subsription from 6 months to 1 month period... the next move can be anticipated :/ there goes 2 years of playing...
Big game developer companies sold their soul to their oh-so-powerful god: the MONEY. They are ruled by the marketing group -> creativity has no place in the developing structure. They service only the paying masses, quality, details are no more important.

I've been playing for over 27 months...most of that as a CH. There's alot that I can put up with adapt to, but blatant lies from the company that I'm paying to provide me with a vehicle for entertainment crosses the line. Marketing a product to us that specifically states why this new expansion was important to us as CH's, and then pulling those benefits in less than a week after providing the expansion is outright deceipt! This has been in the works for quite sometime...SOE knew they were going to do this before even offering TOW to us...yet they kept up the propaganda touting the "cube" and the "necklace" and how we will now be able to tame level 80 babies. This is classic bait and switch! I'm more concerned about this than the 1% of the population BS.
I called SOE at 858-790-7822 and requested my refund for TOW based on the lies that they used to entice me to purchase it. As expected, they don't give refunds...surprise, surprise...liars and thieves never do give back what they steal!
Do you guys remember when the Devs (I think it was Blackmen and Thunderheart) said that the Forums only represented a small fraction of the player base a long while ago when explaining their upcoming changes at that time? Basically implying that the complaints stemming from here were not a majority? Then they later said that they use feedback from the forums to make changes to the game?
This is the same thing. Tiggs said that CH's are a small percentage of the player base yet according to their own data CH's are NOT the lowest percentage.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Ok, here's my intake on CH....
Let the devs, with all their lies, Axe CH, let them take away all the pets from players, since we all know that in the movies No one had a pet at all....Ok, We got that...
Let the devs spew their lies about it all being 1%...ok, about 100 people in game were misrable Creature Handlers that hated taming.
Ok, now that we have that settled and we all know that the devs are right...every time....about everything...Always...no matter what....
Here is my advice to SOE:
If they are going to take away CH, than BY ALL means, take away the NIGHTSISTERS RANCOR PETS...Since after all they are Rancor Tamers too...oh wait, I guess they are part of the 1%...Hmmm ok, how about..Take away the DOMESTICATED CATS, that the Domesticated CAT RIDERS on naboo have as pets...hmmmm no??? How about taking away the KADUUS that the Gungans have, Nope not that either??? Well Gee SOE, what are you going to do with those NPC's that are CH's??? You have to take away all their pets as well...
After all, I guess they don't count now do they??? They don't care if Their pets get nerfed....
This is what I am trying to get at...devs...you take a proffession away from us but than at the same time slap us in the face with the fact that the NPC's still get to have Pets, Rancors, cats, ducks, Veractyls, Bols, Gulamas, etc. In the Movies, Han Solo, Luke, Jabba, the Henchmen for Jabba, Tuskian Raiders, Jawas,all of them had pets.
CH is Just as much a part of this game as Jedi are. We train the mounts, we tame the pets...and SOE DID claim that Master CH's Would in Fact get to have a Necklace that would allow us to tame level 80 Creatures....you did one of two things SOE...you either Ball Face Lied to us and the Whole World, or you Falsely Advertised a product Knowning that you would Not deliver...oh, wait, that's the same thing as lieing...No wonder SOE is getting a rep as the worst gaming company.
Sorry everyone, but I am very fond of my pets.

I'm just relaying to you the information that I have since I've played it and the devs can't possibly answer every thread (Especially with luthium crashing every 5 minutes).
