ok so I'm a CH noob and I can't figure out how to name my pets I have 2 adults sitting in my data pad still called baby kaddu/guallama.

Teach them four commands using your desired name in front of each...for example.

Train > Store > Teddy store

Train > Group > Teddy group

etc etc

Once your pets learns 4 commands with his/her name, it should appear over their head. After that, feel free to reteach those commands with only the command itself, so that you don't have to say their name+command everytime you want them to do something.

A Novice CH can't name their pets yet. They have to get Train 1, Empathy 1 or Manage 1 so they have 4 commands to train with the name.

Iam mid level CH and I cant name pets that I have tamed myself. I was able to until 3 days ago now nothing happens, I cant transfer or trade with another ch for them to name. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it

Dont know, I got three new GW babies yesterday. I will try adn name them today and see what happens. I do know that trained commands were having a hard time sticking to my pets.

Is the name you re using "permissable?" I tried to name 2 wrixs the other day, 1 Ding the other Dong (you know like a bell), couldn't use Dong. Hehe guess that was too nasty! Tried to name a GW "Demon" for another lower level CH and it wouldn't take that either. A different name worked fine. But I have also noticed that sometimes when re-naming a pet it seems to give problems.

Lol, yea I tried Demon to no go! Scarey word. On the up side I got a giant Carrion Spat named "Pecker" and it is one big "Pecker"!

i have read all the guides and tried to name my pet but it still won't work can someone tell me how to name a pet like you would a 5 year old kid lol.

We are having the same problem here, and have tried several different names. I am not sure I am doing it right. I say the name i want for the pet,space, then a command. i do this for several commands.. nothing happens.

are you actually training the pet from the radial menu while doing this?

Like press train attack from the radial menu, then saying (name) (command)?

Right. Hit the radial menu like you're going to teach the command, then use the name you want before the command.

Example: Radial menu command "Store"

/say Fluffy store

You have to teach the pet 4 different commands using it's name. Make sure you spell the name correctly each time you teach it a command.

If this doesn't work, you might be trying to give it a name that the filter finds unacceptable.

I am having troule naming the Var mountfrom the digital download.

I know how to name pets, but can't get him to take a name. I am not using and kinda bad name or trademark.

I was wondering if this was a /bug or if it is "working as intended"
