Thread: Is it me or are spawns all screwed up?
Every time it happens, I /bug it. You should do the same. Maybe if they have dates/times/planets/servers for where this is happening they can track down why. Clearly they don't know yet.

It's not just you. Spawns are SERIOUSLY borked on some planets. I was on Corellia last night, in the middle of the map area, running Hidden Daggers missions (lookingfor spinner blades). There were NO natural spawns AT ALL that I saw, and I covered a lot of ground between missions out of a player city located near one of the mesas.
Yet on Dathomir, to and from the Village or the Imperial Prison, no problem getting aggroed by various hostile mobs of both NPC and critter variety. Darn things are wall to wall. Even in the fairly untraveled area around the tar pits, no problems with spawns popping up all over the place, purboles, malkloks, bolmas, bracks.

Yeah, this happens to me all the time on a speeder bike. They need to push the look-ahead MUCH farther out from where you are. Or better yet, have spawns generate independent of your presence so they are there when you arrive, not after you leave.

i'm more concerned with the huge level
increases then stuff not spawning

This doesn't explain why it happens on places like Endor though -- since I don't think you can put GCW bases there.
This bug has been around for months and months Lam... long before they started the GCW base thing.

I'm not saying that the GCW bases are the SOLE problem... but posts in this thread have centered around buildable planets, and noted that dath (no-build) was NOT a problem.
there are certainly other problems with wild spawns... server uptime is one, server population and player traffic are also factors.
my point was: GCW bases, which are a problem, might be a contributing reason naritus folks are seeing problems on the planets they mentioned, and not seeing problems on dath.
Dath was a problem this weekend in that I was outrunning the spawn generator. I could go to an area and see absolutely nothing, but if I waited around a few minutes, the spawn generator would catch up with me and critters would spawn everywhere. The problem with this of course is that rancors would spawn on top of me and send me back to the cloners.
I could either traverse the planet with no spawns or wait to die because things spawned on top of me. Made for a real fun play experience. Needless to say, I logged out and played a different game.
