This problem has been 'un verifiable' on TC for 2 years. :-P

Think having 100+ bases on a planet might be a factor?

I've tried seeding, waiting, ...

Afriend thinks it's because just about no one is on the planet, and everyone is on another planet at the time.

Would you care to test out a 400 year old sword to see if it's decayed to condition 0? All the prior testers have no comment. Perhaps a gun which was used in WW I and still fires with high accuracy upto 1km?

If that doesn't get you, then start reading current military specifications for combat equipment.

this game seems to need a lot of stuff...

i wonder why online games get away with not being completely finished. i guess the people figure "hey we can (potentially) fix our mistakes with updates and patches, so why avoid making mistakes in the first place?"

Devs: This is working as intended.

Players: But there is nothing I can tame?

Devs: We decided to make Elite Pets move around like resources.

Players:Huh?

Devs: making only certain Elites tameable at a time.

Players:Who thought that up?

Devs:That is classified. But is still working as intended.

Players: What about just any babies to tame?

Devs: That is working as intended.

Players:Can you give me a better examine window of creatures abilities?

Devs: Does not compute.

Players: Never mind.

/bug report, does it really work?

I had a good friend of mine that worked for SOE for several years, He just quit in the last few weeks/month. One of his coments were that that bug report from the players end worked very well. However from SOE's standpoint they did not look at it very often.

Maybe this explains why when bug reports are filled out little is done. Seriously think about it.... here we have this /bug database full of bugs an who is looking at them. What is done with the bug reports we send in? How many people would it take to really work this database an get things passed on to the correct people to get the bugs fixed? You wonder why no one ever gets a response from filling out a bug report? Its easy for SOE this way......

There is the chance the server needs to be reset. If the server has not been reset in a while, it can be hard to find natural spawns.

To be completly honest with all of you... it is sad to say, but the reason we don't see the massive amounts of spawns anymore, well cause there isn't as many people hunting anymore... back then there was ALWAYS people out and about hunting and killing and soloing. This would cause the spawn cycle to constantly .. well cycle... now, no one goes out and kills things, only missions... and on certain planets, so planets are like gohst towns, when a spawns time is up, nuthing respawns...

Well, since creatures don't have inherent abilities anymore, and the accursed level system has destroyed the virtual reality which made it worth your while to hunt wild mobs on starter worlds as well as the adventure planets, of course this is true.

But the fact of the matter is that spawns were borked well before the CU reared its ugly head, I remember in the early months of launch the Agrilat was filled with wild lairs of all types, and as recently as a year ago it was devoid of spawns. Something having to do with buildings, installations, and player cities borked the spawn rates on buildable planets.

I agree, I first noticed it right after the GCW publish. It seems to me that they took away alot of the random wild creature spawns and replaced them with faction spawns. Also, the state of endor is awful. I remember when it was fun, I died alot, but the creatures where hard, and alot of quick agros. Sad to be able to walk up to a CL 40 blood stained Mereck. Some creatures should have a min CL level. And not just the elites.

I find your lack of pants disturbing.

I cannot teach him. The boy has no pants.

Your pants, you will not need them.
