Curious to see where everyone is in the pet abilities progression at this point. Comes out of discussions I had today where everyone told me I was really far ahead where as I thought I was far behind.

I have 56 learned 1 in datapad. Of those learned 23 L1 22 L2 11 L3, and my datapad is a L3.

So that leaves me with as I count and no I do not beleive pinning attack exists 15 abilities left to learn

Those left to be learned.

L1

Combat agility

L2

Self sacrafice

Intimidation

L3

Frenzied assault

Imperilled feint

Cowering vigilance

Staggering attack

Hamstring attack

Fleet footed

Defensive agility

Eye gouge

Bleeding attack

Knockdown

Combat agility

Intimidation

Hopeing to be at 60 by the weekend ofcoarse at this point the empty time is getting longer. So where am I on the button where most other forum members are behind most forum members ahead of most forum members.

I have 52 abilities learned, and I started 5 days ago. I have all the L1's, all but 2 L2's (you can guess which), and the remainder L3's. I'd like to get them all by the end of the weekend, but we shall see. I killed a lot of time milking king/queen merek harvester lairs and frenzied graul lairs to no avail lately.

I have all L1 and two L2 learned. I have three more L2 and two L3 in my datapad, although I am waiting to finish all the L2 to begin learning the L3.

Zendi...52 in 5 days? How is this possible?

I have been grinding like crazy, rolling pets 3 to 6 times to unlock ability, and cant even find some skills on Scylla.

Whats the deal?

I'm just been following some of the tips in the forums, killing yard trash outside the cities for kills.I've obviously had some good luck taming too, especially on Endor.

So what is the real answer...xp or # of kills?

Sick of wasting game time doing endless amounts of lab rat work for SOE.

Update:

I have55 total specials learned.

24 L1

24 L2

7 L3

I need the other 17 L3 abilities.

I do not count Pinning Attack as I also believe it is not in game (which sux cause it's the one ability I really wanted).

So instead of a total of 75 abilities I count it as a total of 24 L1 + 24 L2 + 24 L3 = 72

I've been grouping my pets with a level 1 toon, so I've been getting xp and kills. I only had one pet in 52 roll over more than 3 times. The funniest was my boar wolf ravager which killed about 15 critters at a time with it's AOE.

Not sure there is a real answer to this ultimately, but the way I see it, you have a chance to learn an ability from a pet with every kill... whether it's yard trash or higher level. By killing yard trash, I'm tearing through the # of kills much faster than I would if I were fighting creatures of my (or my pet's) level, therefore upping my chances of learning the ability that way. At least that's the way I've been successful and the method I'm sticking to unless it's a pet that I plan to invest more time into than just learning the ability from. I run a macro to attack and killthings in a consistent, even manner, (a kill every 3 seconds, 20 kills a minute, 600 kills in 30 mins is usually more thanenough to learn the ability for me or darn close)however... I am always at the keyboard when I run the macro. I just tend to catch up on chatting with guildmates or friends during this time and don't mind it so much I also spend this time planning out what abilities I'm going to put on what pets, etc.
