2 pets just sometimes help. my 2 pets autostored together with my escape bike...
the ending to the story........
Luckly enought a combat medic on his bike was passing by and see the MCH laying thier on the ground, with his head all caved in the combat medic could see that the wounds could not be delt with out on the battle field, and new he had to get the MCH to a medic centre as quickly as possible if thier was going to be any hope for the MCH to survive, he kneeled down beside the MCH and gently picked him up, while holding him in his arms the combat medic looked at the MCH,s blood covered face, and sadness over come the combat medic knowing that if he had not passed by this way another brave MCH would have died in battle,the combat medic had see this on many accasions but could never understand why MCH all seemed to go into battle on thier own with out thier pets to help them,he had sent many reports to head office about all MCH,s that died or are wounded in battle where alone and no pets to be seen,but thay had never replyed to any of them,thay should be here on the battle field and look at what i see every time thiers a battle,,then a smile came on the combat medics face as he new because of him at lest this one would live, with happyness in his heart he turned round,,,the smile left his face and the happyness in his heart turned to disbelieve and sadness, his bike had gone,he droped to his knees still holding the MCH in his arms, and woundered if the person that stole his bike was the same person that was stealing the MCH pets, the silence that had once been with him turned to thunder, he turned and looked to where the noise was coming from and he see two Kunga Warriors coming towards him, it was a struggle but he pulled him self up and standing on both feet still holding the MCH in now his acking arms, leaned his head back and looking up into the sky he shouted, how long must this go on for SOE before you fix it, dame you,dame you...... THE END...is it !!!

NO CAPTAIN, I SEE NO SHIPS JUST HARDSHIPS
I know it is/can be really bloody annoying having to spend 15-21 seconds recalling yer pet...But that's about it.
I mean, I'm Creature Handler 4334, Teras Kasi 3333, Medic 2242 and Scout 4040.
And the auto-store bughappened to me today when I was out soloing Mokk Shamen of the Grasslands on Dantooine and both Sookie and Battle-Cat auto-stored. I was unbuffed and STILL managed to kick the snot outta the remaining guys.
Yes it's a problem and should be sorted ASAP. But it really shouldn't cause this much frustration. Creature Handler is more of a support proffession (And a very enjoyable prof at that) but I mean anyone silly enough not to have Novice Medical skills and a basic fighting skill is just asking for trouble.
Basically, expected the unexpected with CH so be prepared.
Were those two dudes you were fighting, Sigfried and Royd? They can make pets disappear...

What would a rifleman say, if his rifle dropped to ground in a fight, and he can only
reequip it after 30 sec outside of combat.. something the enemy wont allow you.
The time they can keep you inside combat (music and state) can last for a long time
even with you on bike and away.
Maybe its all a part of the Combat Balance,

Aye, but that's not a bug is it. That's someone using the disarm skill or something along those lines.
Besides carry a spare weapon and equip that.
