I decided a while back to go Master Ranger, Master Rifleman and CH 0300. Seemed like a nice template, but recently Ive found myself enjoying CH so much I decided to fiddle with that a little and take some more CH boxes. I was just 14k XP short of 0300 today, so I decided to just grab another first tier box, and get the Group command.
Anywho, after I trained it, I went out hunting, ran into a nice bloke who was fairly new, and we started wandering around, me using /areatrack to find critters for him to kill. Lo and behold, I see a Wasteland Cu Pa 411m NW of us! So I get all fired up and ready, don my +taming mod clothes, and head over there.
When we arrived, I nearly had a heart attack, the existing spawn consisted of 1 Wasteland Cu Pa, one Wasteland Cu Pa(scout) and three freakin Wasteland Cu Pa babies! I nearly crapped myself with excitement, not only would I have the mount I wanted, but I could tame one for my buddy(whos just becoming a CH) and have one to sell! So I move over, hit /follow, then /tame.....

*horrific realisation that at 0201 I can only tame CL 18, not the CL 19 of 0300*

Then I checked my skills, only 3k xp away from 0202! But then I noticed my clock. 03:34. Server reset in 25 minutes, no time to get the xp AND find a CH trainer, and probably the best oppertunity Ill ever get to tame myself a Wasteland Cu Pa baby gone forever

I found mine over the weekend in the Race track north of Entha. The only other time I had seen a Wasteland Cu Pa was in that area about 10 months ago.

You wont believe this, it just happedned again! Within 500m of the other spawn, and I was only about 800 CH xp short when the server reset hit. Well not this time, you maniacal server satans, Im not sleeping again until a Wasteland Cu Pa baby is mine! Muahahahaha

I know what ur problem is cuz i had the exact same thing happen to me. I would go up to something, i had a pretty high level, and i would type in /tame. And it said i couldn't tame the creature. So, i talked to a lady on the server Lowca, and she made me some special ch pants. Now, i can walk up to almost any baby and do a /tame and it will let me tame it! I now have 8 creatures that i got from the wild.
Let me know if this works.

I have a full taming outfit, +25 bonus to both Wild and Vicious taming. What happened to you, most likely, if you couldnt tame Vicous creatures yet, and the bonuses allowed you too. You can never tame a creature with a CL greater than what you can control, if I can only tame CL 18 and a critter is CL 19, then I cant tame it, ever, unless I increase the CL that I can control.
Oh, and its confirmed, God Hates Me. Me and another Ranger/CH friend just spent ages wandering everywhere that I ahd previously spotted Wasteland Cu Pa, both of us /areatracking like mad, we covered the entire area around the Mos Entha Circuit, and nothing, not even an Adult sighting

Ohh, sry man. I guess i just read it wrong.
That sucks big time!! Maybe next time you will have good enough skills. Thats happened to me b4 also.
I ran into one of those baby elephant things, but i couldn't train it, i had never seen one b4 either.

I feel for you...although I am far luckier I suppose. I was riding my speeder back from Jabba's palace to Wayfar when I rode straight a lari with 2 babies. Sometimes it just works that way.
