ok this may get lengthy, so please stick with me here.

First off, I'm sure that all of you have encountered this before, I'm simply wondering if there has been any suggestions for possible fixes or suggestions.

Last night, I'm bumping around taking some missions. I recieve a tell asking about training a new pet for someone. I'm not sure what other people charge, but I'm sure I'm way under-priced at 1k to fully train any pet. At any rate, the customer has a bantha he wants mounted and I complete the training on it. It is obviously a BE'd pet, built by a NCH, because it had about 5 commands already trained to it (most requests for pet training are generally someone with a pet just bought off of a BE).

I transfer the pet back to its owner and it happens, he can't call it. I get the "What the ...!" from the customer. I ask to look at the pet again, and sure enough, it is a non-ch pet(level 14). Then I have to explain to the guy the ins and outs of CL and how he really kinda got ripped in the end. This happens frequently, I'm sure that the motto of "buyer beware" applies, I just really dislike having to explain to a pissed off person why they just got jacked for a pet.

Also, what should we be doing about pricing? I think that servers with CH guilds such as BEAST can generally determine and control pricing for CH services, but my server appears to lack a CH guild to my dismay. As I have stated before, if anyone is looking to start something on Ahazi let me know please. I'm reallt interested in trying to help.

On starsider I charge alittle on the high side, basicall since my sales are on the lgith side. Though I quess people dont think i charge to much because I have only had one person say it was to high so i used my chance cube gave him to prices a low and a high one rolled the cube he los but agreed to pay.

My Prices are:
10k for pet
5k to mount
1k for training + Namming since they go together

With an economy as inflated as Starsider these prices sell very well.]

And yes I have had those WTH moments when people bring me mounts, so then I go into the whole explaining CH thing.

I wonder if it would be to difficult to code a CH/non-ch check into pet deeds. Or at least maybe BE's should consider putting something on the deeds (if possible). I'm sure there isn't much the CH community can do about such things, as this sure falls under the realm of the BE. The current system, while simple is easily confusing to people not in the know. I wonder if there is a way to clarify it better at the very least.

There is a simple solution buy natural pets from a CH so that this wont happen.

This has definitely made up my mind, I will not be a part of SWG when my current subscription expires.

what annoys me more is that I am not even allowed to know.

I just want to clarify something for those who are concerned... My disgust does not lie (at this point) with what I have read regarding the CU, it lies entirely with other aspects. SWG may still become a great MMORPG after the CU, but I will not be here for it. I just do not want people to get the wrong impression that the changes themselves are what I am angered over...
