maybe I should clarify as well. This is a very good reason why you should never post out of anger.
I am not upset with how TK is changing (according to the info released by the devs) I encourage all of you to go to Test Center when the Beta starts and try it out for yourselves. You may just love the system.

Jene, wub ya.. so close to hitting that "I Quit" button, except for the fact that I love Ahazi, I love my guild, and not too mention I love blowing people up in space. If SOE/SWG ever askes anyone in this community to "BETA" test again.. run for your freakin life!!!!!

I would love to quit, but honestly... can't do it. Too many friends, too many buddies. My guild, my home, my ships. Over a years worth of effort into one toon.. yeah, I can't quit yet. But I will say I'm very VERY disappointed currently.
CU is probably fine people, though I can't say. Watch Blairs Blog, make sure you go into the Beta and test the living hell out of this thing. Don't just play with the Blue Frogs either, actually test for god's sake.
Personally, I'll be spending a lot of time in space for now. I'll come down every now and then to smack someone across the jaw with my knucklers.. otherwise, I'll be blockading Dantooine with my Krayt.. LMAO!
Not quiting, just a very dissatisfied customer.

Well.. if you want some help getting through any pilot stuff at all... Hehehehe.. I'm at your service! Either as an escort (keeping you alive through some missions, gunning down big nasties...) or if you're grinding your 4 million exp for tier 4.. Have Krayt, will kill!
I'm pretty easy to find! LOL!

What, exactly are you discouraged about? Sure, Docs won't be quite the moneymakers anymore, but TKM sounds like it'll still be good enough to bring money in via the missions. Best defence rating in the game? Sounds great to me. Still 'good enough' damage from what I read, too. As for skillpoints, sure, TK requirements are going up by 1 branch, but Doc is going down by 2, so you'll still be able to master both. Piloting takes no skillpoints, and FS skillpoints aren't changing that I can see. So... what's wrong?
* Edit, now I read farther in the sig. Ah, I see, no alpha. Well, like I said in another thread, I seriously doubt the suits gave them any choice. This sounds something straight out of marketting, a department which plagues every game in existance.

This has definitely made up my mind, I will not be a part of SWG when my current subscription expires.
I respect your current and former position around here, but shouldn't you be a little less negative when so many people have their knucklers out over this revamp? If you have something to contribute, then contribute. I assume that is how you made it to this point?

I don't know where you've been reading but not many people are being positive about this whether it is TKA or any other discussion... what angers me the most is that the Dev's literally asked us for our opinion, we gave it to them, and they still did nothing to change the CU... Never once did they say to us, ok we can change that. no they posted a thread asking for our opinion and just let us talk out of our butts, not saying a word(I can just see them sitting there laughing because we are pead off).. then coming out with that typical marketing ploy about how we are going to just love this flippen upgrade. I was happy with the way things were! Sure there needed to be improvements, but I'll be damned if I'm going to go grind another branch just to master a profession I've already mastered and working my butt of to do!
I personally am so tired of expressing my opinion, and being ignored, that I'm done! I remember requesting that they fix Dancer, begging them... there was no way to make credits being a dancer, unless you started take clients to the back room for a "mind buff" They did nothing to improve it! Nothing! I took up TKA and I loved it! being both able to heal and fight was a great feeling, I have no points left because I took up a small part of CH and I'm working on my FS tree.

Can't say much to the rest of what you said, but it's already been confirmed nobody has to regrind anything if they've already mastered. Everybody's getting a free respec, which means you can reassign your skill points without grinding the XP.
