Thread: Ch's creed
My pet is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, I will keep my pet clean and healthy, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.
Before God I swear this creed. My pet and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.

I like it taloncard. The reason I like it is because it illustrates one of the few positive things left to us who stay in the profession. That is to say,we cannot count on other players, and especially the developers or SoE representatives to have any major concern about this profession anymore. We must find the joy and fun of playing the CH profession within our own circle. It is encouraging to see that no matter what is done to us in each patch, there are those who stay with it and find ways to concentrate on what little still remains that can be interesting and fun to play.
I salute the few who remain...you are like the Rabbit in the book Watership Down:

And each month, no matter what is done to you in each path, while you stay with it and find ways to concentrate on what little still remains that can be interesting and fun to play, you are paying for it. Unless you are fortunate enough to not be paying, and if that is the case then I can understand just a little. On the other hand, something that is free I would hope people wouldn't complain about, but I'm sure they would, hell....people are people. 
To me this doesn't make too much sense. I'll explain. You are paying this company to make you miserable, and then making the best of it. Why? It makes no sense. It's like being in an abusive relationship and making excuses for your partners behaviour. It's like you can't just give it up. I'm sorry, but even though I love the whole drama of "fighting the good fight", "staying with the ship as it goes down".....I like it lesswhen I have to pay for it. If was not paying for the game, I'd not complain, I mean.....I could but their would be no reasoning behind it other than just being a selfish brat. But I AM PAYING FOR THIS GAME EACH MONTH.It's like going to a restaurant and buying food, when you get the food there is a bug in it....would you eat it and just say, "well at least its not on this portion of the food", or would you just leave? Some people reorder (change classes in SWG), and others just leave. But the thing is, by continuing to fund this company with your money, and continually being disappointed month after month, should rationally let you see that maybe.....just maybe.....maybe you should not fund the company? I know for me, I have to have a release from everyday life, and I find it cheaply in an online game. 10-20 dollars a month is better than 20-60 dollars or more on the weekends, or during the week....drinking or eating, movies or whatever. In the game I can be with friends that have moved away, it's not the same as going out and having fun with them, but it's better than not hearing from them other than on the phone. Ok, I'm getting off topic, but the main point is why continue to pay for something that is getting gradually worse. It's like in life, the small things keep stacking up and you need to have a release......that release is not coming in SWG for CH'ers......at least not in time. I'm not going to keep paying and waiting around, month after month while they decide what is best for my money. It's pretty crazy if you think about it inthe big picture. Sure I have great respect for those people that can, bear it out, fight the good fight, keep on trucking (lol), go down with the ship, hold til the last man.....you get the idea. It's dramatic and fun, butI personally don't want to continue to spend my money month after month, waiting....hoping.....it'll get better.....it will.....right? No, but then again that is my logical choice, that makes sense to me, and I am not everyone nor does everyone share my mind or opinions....which is just fine. For some reason I just need to explain the other side to what you have just said, and what other people are thinking as well. There are alternatives, switch classes, bear it, or quit. And considering that there is money involved, and that the first two options are not what I want to pay for, I choose "you release your pet into the wild", lol. A game really should be fun, /sigh. good day all
