You don't see my point, but that's ok.It's easy tomake your statement, and when only pinpointing my one sentence I'm not surehow you get pessimistic out of it. I'm just trying to provideanother viewpoint on the subject, theview of the person that doesn't have too much money to throw away.

Basically, I'm saying, like I said in full detail previously, that for me, my mind weighs the things going on, and decides it's not worth my money to stay around for a few more months playing the game as it is. Then again, I don't have too much money to spend on extracurricular activities , so maybe I weigh them as carefully as I can. Don't get me wrong, I loved SWG for a bit, but as they say, to each their own. This has nothing to do with optimism, I was just giving my thoughts on the subject. Trust me, I love my pets and am sad to see the changes happen as they are. Right now the sad thing is pets are just a novelty. I personally use them for Crowd Control, because I've developed solo play tactics with pets since I became CH. Butif I go out unbuffed, with no food, and tried to do decent missions, 26k or so such as Mokk Shamans on Dantooine, and try to use my pets as tanks to hold aggro.....it comes down to a fine balancing act of me healing my pets, me drawing aggro, and ends up usually with me getting mind incapped. So go get buffs and food you say. Well, when that happens, I become an army of one, and don't even need my pets. It's sad, but I can area KD/Dizzy, then area attack the whole group and kill them in 1/10th the time it would take for me unbuffed/nofood with my pets. I'm spec'd as Master Pike, MCH, and medic 4/3/4/0. I'd have to do this to get money, because if you are currently selling pets for money, you know that the sales are pretty sporadic and far between. I've made over 100k in a day, and not made any money in a week. That's not consistent enough, so I supplement my income with Mokk Shaman runs that I do buffed. For that pets only get in the way because they can't keep up with swoop, and they run when attacking. It's just too frustrating and all to see this class get treated as it is. It's not fair to us all that are paying for a game to have fun, and have the class that we enjoy get slow poisoned. I don't need uber duel rancors, I could care less about pvp actually, I just would like some kind of balance to the wonderful CH class.

Nice post. Encouraging for a newb like me (CH 0 1 1 1) to see that there is passion still out there in the profession. This is my first elite profession and I am having alot of fun with it despite all thats being said about it.I am also novice rifleman and this helps but I dont plan on giving up CH even after I have mastered it. I may give up rifleman once I have mastered it to try something different but being able to tame critters that once owned me is too good to give up (Yes I wasincapped quite often by those damn gurrcats whenI first started

Pretty much the same with me. Before I even started the game, I knew I was going to be a master CH someday. And I was. I even did it the hard way - I tried my hardest to avoid grinding, and instead just took xp as it came naturally.

Then I left for about 5 months, and returned to find that CH had gone from being the only profession that worked as intended to a godforsaken dried turd under the refridgerator in the break room. But I mastered it anyway, and now I can't bring myself to drop the profession I worked so hard for.
