Need a dancer buff? Good luck finding one.

Need a musician buff? Good luck finding one.

Need battle fatigue healed at 2am? Good luck getting that done.

Need an entertainer at all outside of Theed and Coronet? GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE!

Oh, and for the few people who have figured out how to get a doctor buff on a macro, they'll be gone too!

Don't forget the combat macros that you use! Without a /ui command or a /macro command, you'll be putting on your armor one piece at a time. Not that it matters much with the delay now.

Anyway, this post is for people who think eliminating repeating macros will only affect entertainer professions.

YOU will be affected by this.

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10356583&loc=101&sp=1

Ships fast and free and can make macros for any game. Use it AFK at your own risk though.

Nope, it won't affect me at all.

I use macros to combine /tellpet with /echo. I have some to dismount, mask, and mount again. I have a few for roleplaying purposes. I have none that call another macro.

If I need buffs (very rarely) or healing I talk to people.

When I play the game, I actually play the game. I don't hit a button and walk away. I suppose the devs don't want you doing that either.

Instead, I suggest focusing your energy on dealing with the areas you find a problem and help think of solutions to fix those areas so that a macro wouldn't be needed.

Like TH has presented it, it will only affect recursive calls of the same macro.

Armor macros will not be affected. I call it once, and there is no /macro command in an armor macro or at least, no need to put such a command in it.

And for your other points, I agree with Seiryuu. I can talk with people and if there is really no one to heal my BF, no problem with it.
No one to buff me, no problem... I can play without.

Btw, entertainers can still be afk and just entertain with their base dance or music.

i think one of the main reasons they are doing this is to try to bring back some of the people they lost forwhomtheir professions were overrun by afk grinders trying to unlock there FSCS with thtt awful system they had implemented. this will also help after combat revamp to add more 'skill' to pvp because you wont have people using macros to do things for them while they are fighting. i have used loop macros but i have never depended on them for anything, if they took away macros in general i would probably quit but, that's a different topic. i don't understand why people are getting so riled up over losing this ability, i think maybe some people should actually try playing the game.

Some one will find a way round this... they always do...

I always liked the Buff bots... entertainers wont have issues with this as most of them just start playing and then leave it going...

I think it's great, but obviously this is important to you as you posted this in (almost) every forum avialable.

Tell us ... WHY is this important to you? Other than threatening/promising to cancel your accounts (if you do, can I have your stuff?) I have not seen any real explanation why this is sufficiently large an issue for you to take such drastic measures.

Your registered date is sufficiently long ago that you should remember life before bots, and obviously must have liked the game enough to play until now when bots litter the countryside.. so, now, why does taking them away - going back to before, suddenly make this game worthless to you?

So you have to make a long macro and hit it every once in a while. It just isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. And if hitting that macro button is just too much work, spring the few bucks to buy a device like the Nostromo n52 that can run macros for you. I don't think there is a rule against using something like that as long as you aren't using it for AFK macros (that is assuming they make AFK macroing against the rules after they remove repeating macros).

TH saved me having to recheck the EULA

(It may even be a third party program that executes macros, but that is a no-no that breaks EULA policy and gets players banned).

So use of N52 or any other third party program can get you banned.

I don't like the change but I don't think it hurts CH as a profession.

It sucks for crafters and entertainers who have a long boring grind with not much payout along the way. (I know, everyone does but thiers is especialy dull and unrewarding).

I like looping macros myself. I'm a programmers so its fun to play at automating my character doing various tasks. Its not that I don't play the game myself but it essentialy lets me play when I otherwise can't play.

<shrug> there will be pletnty of ways to get around it anyhow.
