Thread: I am disgusted in how the community treats CH's

Ok so I have been leveling TK at Ft. Tuskan.
There is always a ton of people there because of the constant spawn and the relative ease of xp.
Well of course there were 2-3 CH's leveling there too, and I was disgusted at the trash talk they were getting.
"go level someplace else"
"get your damn pets outta my way"
"try a real profession"
I never really saw this before because it has been months before I leveled a profession.
And Yes I stood up for them (even though they were hologrinders) but this is rediculus!!!
I was also hunting low level BE pets that I could call and I found almost every pet vendor empty. A few friends that are BE's said they gave up makeing pets because of the lack of demand for them.
Congrats Devs you made CH go from FTOM to most hated (well maybe 2nd to CM) and nerfed profession

It's been a bit since I leveled at tusken but I do see this a lot from time to time just about everywhere I go. People saying "put that noisy pet away!" and stuff like that. Just try to ignore 'em, thats about all we can do. We are not going to get any attention from SOE at all. They better do a REALLY good job at JTL or I'm going to WoW. I'm bored and on the verge of leaving now.

I got my first ever derogitory comment tonight. A couple of people had pets out and one BE was trying to sell non-CH mounts in the coronet space port. We were joking back and forth and I pulled out a malkloc. I get this "good grief coronet is laggy enough" comment from someone so I left the malkloc out and looked right at the person (a spamming merchant) and said well at least I don't fill a screen with spam

LOL, I used to do that with 2 Ravenous tortons. I'd have them do the trick that makes them stomp and shake the bejezus out of everything. Good times, good times.

While some CH's are jerks, more often than not they do it in retaliation. I've dropped a fambaa on doctor lines when they complained that the cu pa I was selling had no business being out because it caused lag.

I like it when people tell me to put my kimo, or my malkloc away. "get that outta here its lagging out my comp" my answer to that, "oh i'm sorry is my proffession bothering you? would you like me to drop all of ch or maybe go 8km away from the nearest municipal zone to train my pets so as not to disturb you?" which they reply to with a "yes please" To which i reply to "*calls 2 more of the biggest pets he has*"

For those that have tried other online games I am curious if it is a stigma with mmorpg for choosing a taming character.
Ultime Online is the only other I've played and Tamers were regularly abused by one means or another....seems SWG is heading that way slowly as well.

Im not doing CH for hologrinding im doing it because i want to. Im always at FT now and always run into people like that. IT's annoying they either blame it on me or some TKA that was nowhere near the fight.

I was sitting in Cornet with two pets for sale, each named" for sale", oddly enough. Any way this doc drops in and sets up shop in front of me and starts spamming. I send a tell asking him to move, he ignores me etc. 1 Kimogila later doing tricks, and hes sending me tells, put that away etc. So ofcourse I didnt. Also had to do this in Dant once, when some people were spamming and pulling/using droids in the bar. The Kimo won that round as well.
At leats our profession can make the most of our big pets this way!

Just got me 3 Malklocs today.. i see in their eyes the need to dance in Coronet.
Lets see how i call them, when grown up... Armorhole, Autostore.. and... hmm...
