I have looked around in the CH forum but maybe I missed the information on what the new boundaries for stats on BE and wild pets are and what really each stat is contributing to the pet. Like a "BE Buying/Wild Hunting guide" or something like that.

From what I understand a single creature is good but only at 70 or near there. Given that maybe the new specials will make a big change (crossing fingers) I like to have some idea of the stats range and worth so I can get going when the specials fix comes. A BE that takes the time to make good pets is hard enough to find and also there are some rare ones that are sometimes harder than that, lol So I had better have a good idea of what is possible when the time comes.

I placed red text on item I am unsure about or have an open question.

WILD PETS
With elites gone soon in the next patch or so new wild pets will need to be found. I will update when I find more information.
For more info now youcan take a look at SWG Creatures

Health
Health will be between 6400 and 7000 at CL 70 (estimate). This is still species dependent, and usually balanced by a slight difference in damage. [SWGCreature data over 7k is most likely not current.] One of the new specials will give a pet more health, although the percentage is not known yet.

Attack Speed
Wild speed is always 2.0. BE pets seem to lack a listed speed now, so they are capped at 1.0. Prior to the CU, they could range from about 1.9 to 2.1

To hit % "The to hit stat is 98% useless" -Joker9125 Rancors/any other strong pets

Defense Value
(See below under descriptions)

Damage
Damage for wild pets can vary somewhat, but not significantly. At CL 70 the range is roughly 100-400. (Elite pets are going away, so they can be ignored.) For a given CL, variations in damage and health seem to be inversely proportional. Due to twice the speed and a damage range of 499 for BE, high level BE pets can hit significantly harder than wild over time.

Should have some of the same categories as BE pets. Like armor and specials.
See Ko-aIri post Top Issues update... preparing a new Top 5 list Item #2 for the known bug

BE PETS
Due to the fact that you can give up in one area of a BE pets and gain in another I will list the caps or the highest stats for the BE pets. BE can only effect CL, Health, Damage all the rest are set by the creatures level.

Health 9180 is the new max! (See DrendalKahn post in the thread)

DESCIPTIONS

Health
Amount of damage a pet can take just like your health bar

Health Regen
The speed with which a pet can regain it’s health How is this ticking off?

Armor Effectiveness
The amount of damage a pet can resist. Same as our stats but across
the board for kinetic and energy?

To hit %
To Hit varies slightly for wild pets, but is based on CL. BE pets have a 'fixed' value based on CL, although the initial deed may list something different. These are roughly comparable between wild and BE, within a few points. At CL 70, the To Hit adds about 30 points of damage, the increase to accuracy is unknown but probably directly correlates to accuracy for players.

Defense Value
Defense value is identical to the To Hit value. Similarly, at CL 70, it will reduce damage by about 30 points. Unless creatures are miss-matched for level, these effectively cancel one another.

State resistance
Not the chance to resist the state taking effect. Instead it is the amount the detrimental effect is reduced by.

Critical hit Chance
The chance of the pet getting a +Critical Hit+ in. I have never seen this, although I use wild pets almost exclusively.

Critical save chance
The chance of the pet taking only half damage on a hit.

Argo bonus
The amount of aggro generated by damage is modified by this amount. (Potentially a value less than 1.0 could generate less than normal aggro.)

Damage
The amount a pet can deal out in damage. The mean damage is affected by the level of the NPC/creature the pet is attacking. The higher the level past the pet the lower the mean and the lower the level the higher the mean or at least that is what I believe I read on a very good post on pet damage.

Ranged
Ranged damage should be the same as melee damage. Previously was usually, but not always, energy damage for wild pets. BE pets did kinetic. It's buggy and often there is no telling when it will work or what damage it will do of late.

Many thanks to Seiryuu for all the great info!

The title of post is confusing what does a guild have to do with info on pets?

If what you want is info on pets and not a guild then go here Clicky.

Thanks for your input

Well I was looking for a guide that possibly could have been already been created that told what each stat is really contributing. I changed the name of the post to be clearer. I loved swgcreatures.com lived and died off it back in the day, but now due to not seeing the stats of wild creatures and a few pet revamps it's a little fuzzy on what’s what now. Also, I still need to know what are some of the new stats contributing to the BE pets and do wild ones have the same stats but we just cannot see them? I guess a pet buying/taming guide is what I looking for, lol

Can't help you there I'm new to CH made a new char post patch 20 and made MCH and no BE but do have 1 be'd cl57 pet but my 3 female narglatches grouped are better choice. But if in group and no room for pets I use the cl57.

i tested my natural CL69/CL70 pets and found that their armour reduced damage by around 40% - thats an armour rating of 4800 - 5000. this was the case with all my high level pets:
CL70 reclusive shear mite
Cl69 gaping spider hunter
CL69 kinad baz nitch
CL69 mature reptilian flyer

i usualy stick with my natural pets, but i have 2 high level BE pets (CL70 dune lizard, CL69 gurreck) i use if i need high damage output (the double attack speed beats every natural) - the downside of BE pets is its longer recover time

i use the following double combo:
CL29 swamp stalker (elite 4K health 400+ max damage) + CL40 BE Gurreck

and a pack of female naglatches as 3-combo.

i usualy use solo pets as they can tank for me pretty easy (as master pistoleer BH0044 i have lots of state shots to support my pets without outdamaging it).
