Thread: Viable Template?

Hey Folks,

I've posted this on a few boards to see what various factions think of my template. It is mostely a PVE, but I feel it is viable for PVP as well.

Any comments would be appreciated.

SCOUT > Exploration IV, Hunting IV, Survival I
MASTER CREATURE HANDLER > All lines
MASTER MEDIC > All lines
DOCTOR > Master Wound Treatment, Master Doctor Med Crafting
MARKSMAN > Pistol Specialist , Intermediate Ranged Support

------------------ 250/250 points used -----------------

I feel that this would allow me to use 3 pets as my tanks / offensive capabilities, with basic pistol skills to supplement. The medic / doctor skills allow me to make and use extremelely potent woundpacks and stims, as well as the best enchance buffs (besides getting Master Doctor).

Is this right? I'm still a bit confused about how the healing levels work . What level wounds /stim / enchance packs does this allow (for you uber doctors who know this sort of stuff off the top of your heads).

Any comments, suggestions?

You need a level II in Doc wound treatment speed to use buffs (it is /healenhance in the skill tree).

You need level IV doc medicine use branch to use all the meds you can make with the craft branch.


so you need 0, II, IV, IV in Doc to do what you want.

The branch with 0 in it ups the amount of wounds you can heal, and had /cure poison at II and /cure disease at IV. (and can be readily skipped).

The rescusitation kit I see that I get in Doc Med Crafting IV, does the work on its own? Or do i need the Revive Player skill from Master Wound treatment to do that?

If so i might need 0, IV, IV, IV to do what i want. Or am i wrong?

You'll need wound treatment 4 to use the rez kit.

my suggestion is if you arnt gonna master doctor, juts get crafting 4 and treat 4


speed is nice and so is /cure poison and disease...but i have yet to see a need to use either. maybe for PvP, but right now diseasre and poisons are so gimped...


my template is master CM/Master surgeon doc crafting 4/pistol specialist/artisan survey4

I am definately getting both of these. But I was only going to get Master Doctor Medecine Knowledge as well in order to have a high enough Med Use skill to use all the Stims / Enhances /Woundkits...is Master MK needed? Or can i only get 1 / 2 or 3 (IE is this enough to use all the items i can make, can i experiment them low enough etc).

I hope this makes sense, cause Im thoroughly confused and I wrote it hehe

Perfectly viable template, like most it depends on the player using it.
