Perhaps you are right.
One day i might be considering some lightning.
The next day maybe i will try putting a red crystal in my sabre "just to see what it looks like".

Hey guys,
I just got Glowy and am wondering as to whether the following is a good template :
Master Lightsaber
Master Defender
Healer 0404
I don't plan on having too many run-in's with BH's...

Sounds pretty common except the fact that you took the 2 least important lines of healer. You would have no damage healing and would have to rely completely on avoid incap. I've seen some people make it work, but unless you know what you're doing, its better to get damage healing, and your force pool will thank you.

I am hoping that when you put H0404 you actually meant H4004 or H4040, otherwise you are going to be in for a hard time.

Ok now that CH is actually a useful profession in combat, i was wonding if anyone thought about the possibility of doing a MRanger/MCH/SL 3-4-0-4 Template. This seems like it could have the potential at being a decent template. The SL gives some decent defenses while you should still be CL 80 and able to use some decent weapons, all the while having 2 pets got after the critters/people

Plan on dying, a lot.
Clone everytime you go anywhere. To include the potty.

Agree with JB. You'd have 15 ranged speed, 65 ranged and melee defense, and 30 ranged accuracy. And no specials apart from pet attacks. Then again, it all depends on what you want to do with it. If you don't intend to solo anything, and are just looking for a fun group leader/support role, this template sounds like a blast. Lotta RP potential, too.

True, maybe they will finally give Ranger some combat mods and some weapons and make this more viable. Have a friend whose CH/Ranger and he does ok though. Was thinkgin about trying this route on another server though. not with any of my main toons
