Ok so I have taught my pet 4 commands (with creature empathy I) and after i teach the last command it says "(NameOfPetHere) ?" What do i type after this question mark? someone help

But from what I read you teach the four commands as (Name) command. Then the pet takes that name.

So like Bob Attack, Bob Follow, Bob Release and whatever the 4th one is Then suposedly after that you can change the commands to what you want and it will keep the name.

yeah but after you teach the 4 sure others can see the name and all but when you have more than 1 pet out at a time, you are supposed to be able to say attack when you want all pets to attack rather than going through all their names to tell each one to attack. But when i would say attack for just a single pet it doesnt work. What i think its asking for is some kind of command that sorta secures the name to the pet.

When you get a fifth command you can still name your pets and train them all to respond to the 'attack' command. Alternatively make a multi line macro, '/say Bob attack; /say Betty attack' etc.

You can reteach the commands as often as you want.

As soon as your Pet is named it will stay. So you can teach them the attack command back to simply "attack" without the name included.

how do i name my pet? also, when i want to get more creature handeling XP, do i just train more animals. or are there certain other things? how do they grow and get older?

You name a pet by saying its name before a command, ex: "Spot, Follow." (You must do this with a number of different commands for your pet to learn its name...) and your creature grows with time. As for gaining CH XP, I don't know.

Is it possible for pets to not like their name? Cause I can name it anything but Kingy for some reason.

I hear you have to store them now for the name to take affect, some sort of glitch after you name them once??

I can't verify, I don't change my pets names but thats what I read somewhere elseif it helps.

Some names are blocked by soe for you to use.

To name you're pet you're supposed to pull up the Radial Menu, open Train, click one of the options, and include the pets name before you type in the command right? For example, "Sparky Follow!"

Well, I've done this like 10 times and nothing is happening. In the manual it says 3 or 4. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or what?

you need at least 4 commands for them to learn. at novice you only have 3.

Oh well that would explain it. In the manual it just says 4 commands, not 4 different commands! Thanks a lot!
