Thread: fastest tactic for getting CH xp? hunt big game or small game stuff?
I've tried 2 different ways to get my CH xp, but it seems to dribble in so slowly....
First way was to use a low low level pet, a level 6 lol, and hunt around theed naboo, i would sic him on a butterfly or what have u, then shoot it with my pistol... i would get about 130 CH xp and 100 weapon xp... i went up teh creature management tree first so i could have 2 pets..... so i had 2 low level pets hunting and getting about 260 xp per kill.
this seems so slow though.
ive tried hunting big game stuff, ie like on endor with my lvl 21 monkey pet, but i only get about 200-300 xp per kill... and then id have to spend liek a minute healing my pet back up.... costing money for stims.
so is there another way to get CH xp fast? =| cuz i dont wanna go back to hunting around theed with my lowly pets lol, its so boring.
Get in a snorbal group on Lok... Use a baby pet and get in a group where it doesnt have to tank. You can get 400+ CH exp per kill.
Kimogila group can give you up to 2k CH exp per kill, but they deal so much damage etc, they are more of an opportunity kill while in a snorb group.
currently using baby gurreck and baby blood-stained merik to get my xp, once they grow up I go and tame another couple high lvl baby creatures. So find the highest pet you can tame, get 2 of them as babies and hunt things like Kaadu or Gualama's, I get about 120 xp pet pet... yah it's only 240xp total pet kill but the kills are fast with me blasting awaywith my carbine.faster xp than taming and training a pet.
Only way to get fast ch xp is to use low lvl pets against high lvl mobs. That means you need to be in a group, preferably with a high lvl CH that has a high lvl pet out to tank or your pets will die.
I used Cu Pa's, because they have a ranged attack that hits the mob faster (you only need one hit in to get the xp) and they usually stay out of range of the mobs attack.
Get management 3 as fast as you can, and call 2 Cu Pa's out to double your xp.
Back when I was doing this, Tuscan camp was active, and the xp was in the range of 200-1800 per mob, times 2 pets = up to 3600 xp per battle.
Tuscan camp is gone, but lots of other high xp mobs on lots of planets. The secret is to be in a group, with a tank that will take aggro away from your low lvl pets, and use the lowest lvl pet you dare, hopefully it havinga ranged attack.
GL to you, eventually you will be a master, and it is all worthwhile.
Get a good size group, use cowardly gurreck or cu pas and head over to dathomir. Hunt at nightsister caves..
1.4 - 2k CH XP given
Hmmm....this is interesting. I'm finding that I'm getting 800+ xp per tame. Like 100-130 for the tame and 100-110 for each command I teach my new pet. Thisseems to be what I'm getting for small, easily tamed creatureswith larger creatures giving more XP for the tame but the same for the commands.
Otherwise I usually stick to a baby and hunt small game as a means of gaining xp when I want to level. This is a lower reward per kill but the xp per hour ratio is IMO, the very best. I can take out 5-10 low level mobs in about 1 minute, so that's 400-1000 xp per minute with zero risk and very little down time. Snorbals are great if you can team up with a heavy hitter like a commando to take them down quickly.....plus snorbals don't DB like a kimogila and give excellent weapon xp to boot.
well i dont like group hunting, im a loner in game.
so best way to get solo xp is to hunt lowly stuff? =|

There's no good way to get fast CH XP solo. There just isn't. Tame, Train, Release is the fastest way to get XP solo, and that takes a LONG time.
So it sort of comes down to either start finding groups, or accept the fact that it's gonna take a long time to get XP.
Fast way to gain CH exp? get lowlvl babies and hit on durni's and stuff like that, wait till baby does at least 1 damage then shoot the mob, you should get at least 150 exp per baby, i dont know any faster way snice there are tons of lowlvl critters outside towns.
