WOODLAND KIMAS OWN for EXP they end to be lvl 17they are weak as heck But they have 5k ham now for the Exp

Seething Bols = 660exp per Kima

Bark Mites on Endor = 900 per Kima

Btw for the seething bols if you have a heat weapon youll be set if not dont try them commandos own them though.

Thats about it youll need some fighting skills to solo either one though but you can do missions for both exp goes up pretty fast. there are force guys around Dant also and in a group they die fast and you get like 1900 per

100 or 130 per kill around towns is the fastest solo CH exp you can get.

200-260 is downright unfair.

Low level pet doesn't always give you the best xp. It is possible to use a pet that is too low for the thing you're hunting and will get you lower xp. For fast of course hunting with cu pas killing corellian butterflies or vynocks is probably really fast. But it also drove me nuts after a while, I took my mauler and grand wrix and hunt on Dantooine to save my sanity with a small group of friends.

Best exp I got was two lessor wamp rats killing the newbie mobs. If you have one pet you can get 100-120 exp per kill. During off times you can kill as fast as you can. I was able to get 12k-15k/hour with one pet, and 25-30k per hour with two pets. This works if there is no one else hunting the low level newbie pets. Yes you can get better exp per kill, but I am not sure about getting better exp per unit time. Note to do this you need to kill 1 newbie pet every 30 seconds, which isn't hard to do, as long as they exist.

The best approach (IMHO) has already been suggested in this thread: tame the best pets you can and use them while they grow. When they mature trade them in for a new baby. Lather, rinse, repeat. The benfirt of using tough babies is that their armour and resists are at full capacity, even though their HAM and damage scales with growth.

By way of example, which would you prefer to use as a CL11 pet:

Adult Cu Pa - HAM 1100, AR0, 15% resist to kinetic - CL11

baby Graul Mauler (30% grown) - HAM 2910, AR1, 75% resist to kinetic - CL11

they both give identical xp on a given mob.

Now the mauler may be a poor example because novice CHs cannot tame or call one, however my point is that using a juvenile of [insert whatever the best pet you can tame is] is a very efficient way to max the CH xp you get from hunting. I used a kliknik defender at 2/2/1/1 to run around Mos Entha killing the spawns just outside town, it's remarkable how effective it is.

Bootang1, keep in mind that one of the great things about this class is all the different ways to make XP. I mean just look at the responses. This thread has given me more ideas about how to gain they XP and I want to thank all the responders.

Somthing occured to me as I was reading TivoTenook's post and that's as we progress, the same ole methods may not be as appealing as before - nor will they provide the same rewards. Yes the xp gained will be the same but this actually starts to feel likea grind sometimes. TivoTenook thanks for giving me more ideas about the upper level XP gains. Right now I'm a 2/2/1/1 CH and fast approaching the place where I will want to, and be able to, gain more XP per hour. Plus I'm always looking for new reasons and methods of exploration.

ok, look...for me, it was slow enough trying to get the first couple levels of CH exp like 17k and 52k. Once I got up to the requirements such as 85k and 140k, I needed to find a better way to get the exp and get it FAST. So heres what I did rather than big group hunting or long boring solo small game or taming all day and night:

There are three creatures that I killed in my final days of becoming a CH that was giving me 140k a day of exp just by killing them over and over again with my mountain squill and dragonet. First, Fambaas on Naboo. Hard to find...unless you're a master ranger like I was : )They give good exp and dont assist. I found them either in the swamps around Moenia, northwest of Theed, or northeast of Kaadara.

Secondly, Dragonets on Tatooine located around Mos Taike or Mountain Squill which can easily be found north or northeast of Mos Eisley.

And all you need while hunting those two is one decent doctor to make sure your pets stay healthy. (if you dont have management 3, get it as soon as you can...that way you can call two pets and get twice the exp)

Lastly...Tuskens. These tough guys give a range of exp for my pet mountain squill and dragonet. I was getting I believe about 300 for a sniper, 350 for commoner or raider, 450 for tusken bantha, 1k for chief, 1.5k for captain, and 2k for warlord. So if you dont feel like going to hunt them around Entha or Taike, I suggest you make a trip to Fort Tusken with a decent size group (6 solid players with a doctor or two and maybe a commando should do the trick) and you will get so much exp so fast, you wont even know what to do. I got 40k in about 1 hour I believe before I died.

So good luck fellow CH, hope to see a post saying you are master soon. ttyl

Baiterous, it's been some time since you leveled your CH hasn't it?

Getting the toughest baby and use it while it grows doesn't work for novice CH.

XP is calculated by max CL of the creature you use not the current baby level.

Just used my shiny new shapanaut hunter (CL 22, current 4) to kill a spineflap for 65 XP, my female plains tusk cat (CL 16, current 6) gets 80 XP for the same kill.

There's no good way to get fast CH XP solo. There just isn't. Tame, Train, Release is the fastest way to get XP solo, and that takes a LONG time.

So it sort of comes down to either start finding groups, or accept the fact that it's gonna take a long time to get XP.

I solo and in 30 minutes can get 50k+ ch xp (solo enraged) (each take about 10 seconds to put down)
