I'd say either training or fighting with pets.

That is a little ambiguous. Isn't that the only way to get CH xp?? Training and fighting with pets.

er, what else can you do??????

Personally, I like the combat route rather than hanging about training and releasing rills all day. I do enjoy it though when I level up and go searching for those extra level pets I can now tame/train. At that point it's time for a clear out and restock.

I hunt for xp, i tame/train for fun.

I work up the managment tree first so you can have two pets. Then I like to hunt with one pet and then tame whenever babies are present, that being your second pet. I did not like storing one pet to stop the hunt, then train another pet, then build a camp to bring the hunting pet out again. Now it does not mater since you don't need camps to bring out pets in the wild.

I am a novice CH on Bria and I have found the tougher the creature your creature is fighting, the higher average XP you get for the battle. So really the best way to get XP is to find a good group that can tank while your creatures bash on the enemy. That way your creatures won't get slaughtered very easily...since most creatures you acquire aren't very strong anyways.

What gives the most XP? Helping with killing a kimogila, peko peko albatross, krayt dragon, orVERY high level NPC (like a nightsister or a darkJedi master) 2000 CH XP. Which is the most XP you can get, because it's capped.

If you've got 14 commands to train, a TTR on a gnort baby will get you 1500 CH XP.

What I did for all the first level skills is just go outside a major city with your pet and fight the creatures right outside the city. You get like 90-130 CH xp per creature and it goes so fast (let the pet hit once, then shoot and kill the creature with 1 shot, they also respawn Extremely fast) you'll get these first level skills in no time.

Team up with a low level Bio-Engineer, and take some decent paying missions. Have your pet guard him as he takes samples... as critters will aggro on the BE a LOT until their DNA Sampling skills get up to tier 2 or 3. When the BEhas enough samples, have them craft scrub pets from the DNA, and give to you to tame and train... 100 xp for taming and 100xp per taught command adds up quickly in this manner.

Before I picked up BE myself, I helped one of my BE friends this way, and got mad CH xp. Crimson blurg missions on Endor work great for this... and they're 11k per mission, with only 2 blurgs per lair. Sample one blurg to death, then outright kill the second for xp/resources.

Grab your level 20-30 pet and take off running across Dathomir. I've racked up points really quick this way.

Lots of red-con spiders, rhoa kwis, nightsister and singing mountain chicks, craggy bolmas, baz nitches, kamuriths -- they all give good CH xp and aren't going to get you or your pet killed (if you're careful). Oh yeah, there are rancors, too.

Take plenty of stimpacks for you and your pet. You'll need them!

Get a CL15-17 or so pet, and do Savage Quenker Missions on Dantooine.

Let the Pet hit it.. then kill it with your (hopefully developed) Combat skill,

im my case TKA. App 350 CH-XP a kill. and about 3,5K for your

Combat Skill.
