Now, I'd like to know WHY THE HECK were getting destroyed by the devs. We used to be powerful until the first nerf, then we were good at that time thenTHEY NERF US AGAIN!!!! Why are they reducing us to a pile of rubble? They're not helping us with bugs like autostoring, warping, mounts not following you,Tera Kasi killing EVERY PET YOU HAVE!!!! Either they hate us or they just want us to suffer then make the CH proffesion extinct

Sorry but the devs aren't killing CH. CH is already dead, it died the day Publish 6 was released some just haven't come to terms with the death of CH yet.

Creature Handler is a support profession.

What they wanted was for the handlers to stop relying on their pets and use own abilities to win at pvp. I am working on other professions to see what would be the best compliment for ch for pvp and worked bounty hunter for awhile because I liked the weapons. Now am trying TK to see if the knockdown and hit specials will be the best profession to compliment ch.

I am a MCH, medic 1/0/0/0, tkm and i like it. I love CH i don't know why people are saying it's dead, It wasnever really meant for pvp you know "player" vs "player". It's still a great class and with the BE addtitions I have some awesome pets that can tank for me, or deal dmg, apply bleeds, posion disease, dizzy, etc. It's a support class if it wasn't than the CH added to any other class would be overpowered. Also in raids and attacks they are a great distraction. Ch change was needed and for the best, it's not that you would see alot more MCH before because everyone that use to be one still is. It's teh fact that before with 4/0/0/0 CH people would call out graul maulers and use em in pvp with the rest of their template. FOr the people that are MCH the proffesion is well worth it.

I am also a TKM with clothe attachments, armor and buffs I rather have this great support class for pve than have a couple extra points in defenses by dabbling in other proffesions. With this i get a well balanced player, I am not the most uber in pvp or pve but it's very fun.

I loved CH too before it died but it is not a support profession it is useless, except for getting better missions.

No matter what anyone may say CH is not a support profession.

How can CH be a support profession when it isuseless?

I don't PvP, I only PvE. Pets are uselessthey are not needed for tanking I can tank better as a Pistoleer, not even master Pistoleer yet, than my level 54 bio Graul could.

Pets waste too much of your playing time by running, autostoring, and not obeying.

The points from CH are much better used elsewhere.

I am not talking about dabbling but pick up a real support profession like Master Medic, Artisan, or Chef these professions are usefull not useless like CH.

I know it is an emotional issue at least it was for me while CH was dying but I have come to terms with it's death everybody should. Actually it would be better said that CH was murdered. Yes murdered CH did not die a natural death it was murdered by Publish 6.

CH is not a support profession for reasons already mentioned. Plus, we are using our abilities. Pets are our ability. Saying they want us to rely on ourown abilityinstead of our pets is like saying I want a rifleman to rely on his own ability instead of his rifle. The CH profession is no longer a profession, it is a hobby.

All the non-CHs complained about there being no player tanks in the game, so they made brawlers (esp TKM) tanks. Never mind the fact that a CH IS a player. They gave away our role to another class for the simple fact that the other players didn't think we were people. So, they gave the other class greater tanking ability than us. But they forgot that in order to increase tanking ability, one must decrease damage output (the reason a marksman only a few bars up the tree can outdamage our best pets). So now you have a player that can tank better than a pet and do much greater damage.

personally i love ch. I use my creatrues for grouping. I group my creatures and get better missions. then I use them as tanks and then i kill the creatrues i am attacking. I have gotten great exp from this. it helps when no one else is on.

I don't understand what the devs have against us. Why have they made CH such a monumental waste of time and SP?

Well, here I am 1 box away from MCH - I'm going all the way, because I started way back in the beginning and am going to finish, and because it's by far the coolest of the professions.

I have yet to decide if MCH is going to be worth keeping though- seems like its just a big timesink, to look for rares and rejoice after taming a creature that wont stand up in PvP despite taking tons of effort to get.

Well I guess I'll play the last CH. What a waste of Skill points. It's better to be a Master Scout you actually get some useful skills as for CH I see I fencer 0010 do a mission faster. I guess I can call out pets to give a better dance show. Look at my pets but they are garbage. Hmmmmm maybe I'll quit playing again.

The reason is very simple.

The devs heard the cries of "this game is nothing but p-0-k-e-m-0-n wars" and "pets aren't Star-Warsy!!!!" And they listened. They're bringing in combat droids. They've given melee fighters tanking ability. They have made the Ch completely useless in PvP. They want to get rid of the profession of Creature Handler completely. But there were far too many of us. So, they bash us repeatedly with the nerf bat, hoping to drive as many of us from the profession as possible until only the ultra-faithful remain. But those will be small in number, and the devs will then destroy the profession and remove it from the game.

Do you honestly think the camping restriction was removed to benefit the CHs? Heck no. It wasn't until the other players with -VEHICLES- began complaining about needing camps to recall auto-stored vehicles that the camping restriction was removed. And then it was replaced with the ultra-lame 30 second timer that does nothing but grief CHs. Most people won't mind the 30 second wait if their vehicle poofs because chances are, they didn't leave their vehicle while in a dangerous situation and won't mind waiting 30 seconds if it means not having to walk thousands of meters back to the nearest city. But when you're fighting mobs (particularly NPC mobs like tuskens or whatnot) and your pet just vanishes in the middle of a fight, you have only a few seconds before those mobs decide to target YOU, and those seconds could be used to re-call your pet. At least it COULD happen that way if it weren't for this ridiculous 30-second timer. Pure CH griefing from the devs. And not one legitimate reason from the devs on why it's being put in. Prevent exploits? They've never once been able to tell us what kind of exploit it would prevent.

Support profession? You can stow that garbage. CH is a COMBAT profession. Our weapons are our creatures. A support profession is one where combat is not the profession's main attribute. Combat IS the main attribute for creature handlers. We are a combat class, pure and simple. And we are a crippled combat class. No other class has to wait 30 seconds for their weapons to appear. "Oh, that 30 second thing is fair because otherwise a CH might go around without their title on and get someone to fight them and suddenly pull out a rancor!! That's not fair!!" And how fair is it when a character with the title of novice marksman suddenly dons a full set of high-powered armor and an uber-weapon within one second with a macro?

We've been lied to by the devs more times than I care to count. Flat-out lied to. CL50 and below creatures not having baby spawns would be the rare occurence, not the norm...remember that lovely tidbit? We all know by now that it was a crock. Pathing and auto-storing have been around for a long long time now. Pets hanging on server boundaries. Pets not doing what they've been told. /TELLPET still not working half the time. Special attack commands not working without some bizarre macro which we SHOULD NOT need. Heck, my pets have been pulling another one on me lately. When I have it guarding me and I kill a mob at the same time it agros me and thus triggers my pet's guard function, my pet turns around and begins running off in the opposite direction. I have to call it back, and if /TELLPET has decided not to work for me, it's usually off my radar by the time I get the verbal command typed and I end up having to store it, camp and recall it. These and more bugs have existed for CHs for a long long time, and there's no sign of them being fixed.

Why is that? Because devs WANT us to be frustrated and give up the class so they can remove it. And it appears to be working as more and more CHs give up the profession to go for more productive ones.

Yeah, I know. I'm sounding bitter. Probably because I am. I've had days where absolutely nothing went right with my pets. I'd have them guarding me, I'd get attacked by something and the fool pet just stands there and watches as I'm handed my backside while I try to get far enough from the mob to shoot at it with my rifle, all the while spamming my /TELLPET ATTACK key to no avail. I've had pets auto-store on me so much, I just gave up and left the game for the day. But you know what? I'm not giving up CH. Hear that devs? I'm gonna be one of those "last ones standing" when you decide the percentage of players who are CHs is low enough to axe the profession. And when you do that, I quit the game (assuming I haven't already by that point). I've wanted to be a CH for almost as long as I've been in the game. I held off when the "three rancors out at once" phase was in vogue because I ws disgusted by the behavior of CHs at that time. I've held onto my mastery of the profession through nerf after nerf. I've dropped other professions to try new things but I refuse to give up my creatures. So you can't win when it comes to me, devs. You keep smashing my profession into the ground, it'll cost you a paid membership account.

Because, in the end, that's the only way you ever listen.
