Thread: Am I charging to much for pet stims?

My first thought would be to sell a crate of 10. 2500 a pop probably isn't bad, it's in line with a med stim that has about the same effect. But onalarge quantity, speaking for myself, expect to pay less per unit. Otherwise, I'm better off paying 2500-3000 for a single one and buying them as needed.
My 2 creds.
Never ask your customers how much you should charge for a product. ![]()
Common BE pricing for the stim you mentioned -- 1019/28 -- would be 2855 credits (2.8 * 1019). I price by this formula, and can't keep 'em in stock. I could probably charge more. ![]()
I'd sell singles at this rate, and crates of 10 for the price of 9. I never sell full crates of 50.
i've paid betwen 150-300k for a crate of 50C stems... its hard to find crates of 50, and my backpackis already about full of other crates of things,,, cource i don't go through more than one stack a day usually... but if i got out for big game, i'll go through a few stacks in less than an hour (krayts hit hard)...

if you want to gouge us... youll find we may buy one in an emergency... but we surely wont be a repeat customer...
Another thing is that the bugs aren't helping the pet stim business either.
With autostore, and especially the pets not following, I'm tending to put the pet away unhealed at the end of a mission and pull out a new one for the next one since chances are pretty good it won't follow me there anyway.
You are definitely charging WAY too little and you've undervalued your time commitment to produce these things. It takes A LOT of time just to get all the resources for a factory run and you should charge accordingly.
I just recently completed a factory run of 10000 pet stim C's, 31 uses, 1050 heal. Considering the time I put into creating them (more than any other craftable that I make), I charge 10,000 credits per stim, or 250,000 credits per crate of 25. This comes out to roughly 320 credits per use.
If I played on your server, I would buy up your entire inventory of Pet Stim C's at 2400 credits each, and then sell them on my vendors for 10,000 credits each.

I am selling stim C's, 28 uses, 1019 heal for 120k / crate of 50. Am I overcharging? I thought that when I was Master CH I was paying 135k per crate, but that was months ago and my friend just told me it was 60k. Can anyone help ?

I sell singles andcrates of 5,10, 25, and 50. I sell for 4K each (so crate of 50 for 200K), and I can't keep them in stock. Mine are always over 1K heal and usually 28 to 30 uses. Just for reference....
shhh... don't go advertising... otherwise who will i get my stuff from ![]()

You should price what you think is fair based on your costs and the time it takes to make them. Of course you are encouraged to modify that based on supply and demand.
As a Master CH with Rancor to heal, I probably would not pay that (on my server). Why should I spend 130-150K for a crate of stims when I can get about 50% of the healing power for about 25% of the cost. I also am a stron believer in quantity discounts. When I had a vendor, I would always charge less per unit when selling in larger quantities. It gives customers some incentive to buy more. Which is why most real life merchants have the same policy.
