I don't even know why people are still buying pet stims when they can go up one tree in novice medic and gain access to use doc stim D's.... these hit for more healing power and and are way cheaper... sure you dont get medic xp for using em on pets, but its worth it.... this only works if you have the skill pts to spare

I am selling stim C's, 28 uses, 1019 heal for 120k / crate of 50. Am I overcharging? I thought that when I was Master CH I was paying 135k per crate, but that was months ago and my friend just told me it was 60k. Can anyone help ?

Greeting Oskori

I see you are a fellow BE from Bria

On Bria, with the inflated prices, you are undercharging!!!

Remember, the pet stims Cs require dath insect meat. As I'm sure you know good dath insect meat sell for 30c/u- 200c/u.

If you're paying for your meat you're going to loose money. If you hunt your own meat you're going to loose money by making them into cheaper stims then you could sell the meat for!!!

Standard pricing for Stims usually follow the following formula:

Power x Charge /10

1019 x 28= 28532 /10= 2853 (Feel free to make it a nice round 3k)

Now, as I said that is standard price for pet stims A-C (get to Ds in a sec). If my resources used are sub par I will divide by 12 instead of 10. If the resources are premium (like the dath insect meat was on Dath last week) I will divide by 8 instead of 10.

With stim Ds (if you're crazy enough to make em) charge whatever you want. They will sell. The rare occasions I put them on my vendor they are gone in 3 days even if I was to charge 500k a crate of 50.

Lastly, I would suggest the following:

Make a wide selection of different stims in different sizes (crates of 10, 5, and singles work best).

Have some cheap As made with basic componenents (non-advanced), Bs made with the basics, as well as the ADV. Bs and Cs (Ds if you dare).

This way there is something for everyone!!!

You dont want to punish the stuggling CH because of all the asshat credit duppers and elite combat dabblers who make money by the bucket and drive up prices, but you also dont want to sell yourself short

You're an elite crafter as a MBE and you deserve to be richer then the customers you serve but you also want to keep things affordable to those that dont yet have the 10+million bank accounts.

Hope this helps

Well not everyone want to go all the way up pharm 4

Im addtion, point for point, pet stims are a better deal for the most part.

Remember, reg stims dont always hit at full power and unless you're a master doc you're going to get a fair share of duds.

Pet stims always heal for full power!

The more elite MCH know that the best combo is to use a combo (in macro) of pet stims and reg stims. Max healing for your pet

I know a fair share of CH who solo krayt that way and their pets never get incapped!

Anyway, to each their own

plus they heal the mind, no need to /tellpet heel;/tellpet t2;/tellpet attack... then chase it for 3k till the mob's get in their ideal ranges...

yep no low rolls

very good combo for straight healing...

yes it can be done... you better be a rifleman, commando, or CM (with new geno looted poisions/diseases), to be anywhere near effective

now to answer the the question as why don't i get pharm 4, i've had it 3 times now... MasterMarks (before i found the +5 riflespeed tape), and now ranger 0/0/3/0 are far more benifical to me than medic is... i find the creatures i'm looking for faster, harvest more, and get agro'd alot less...

this aspect saves me money, 100cpu meat if i get 10-15 more per harvest thats 1000-1500 credits per creature, and i might use 3-4 uses off of a stack of stems... thats off of a 20k picket longhorn mission, 5 pickets per spawn, that gives me 15 pickets in 90 secs or so... thats 15k made and 4k spent in stems, so i comeout 10k ahead for that one mission...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.
"Wait for the Smuggbat Revamp"

heh personaly my second account I made as a BE and when he hit master I cranked out 2 full crates of 1103/33 petstims for my MCH account. For petstim B's the (power X charges X .1) seems to be a fairly good priceing guide. For C's I think you should charge a bit more sence it requires dath insect meat wich is harder to get in quantities than talus fungus. with fungus you can always go drop a few harvies but that meat requires someone to go hunt for several hours just for a crates worth.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead
