Has anyone ever seen/fought a Gorax? I went all over Endor several nights back in July (pre-patch) looking for one while gaining xp and training babies, never saw one. From everything I've read and heard, if they exist they're tougher than virtually everything else in the game (maybe equal to an ancient krayt). Anyway, any info would be appreciated.

havent seen any, but are they those giant creatures in the Ewok movies, the creatures that stole the parents and kept them in a cage? (ewok movies separate from star wars)

I highly doubt a Gorax would be tamable...and I'd put my money on the Krayt

Hehe...wan't ever expecting to be able to tame one. Boy, would that tick everyone else off if CHs could start taming Goraxes. They'd have to raise our CL cap to 250. The funny thing is, an imp with enough faction to get 2 or three AT-STs could still kill our CL 250 uber-pet. )Aint SOE logic grand!

Hello Ranger's

I've been out on Endor for the past two months trying to track the Gorax. Does anyone know if it spawns? or am i just wasting my time looking?

I have not seen one but others claim to have done so. Finding it when it spawns is another matter entirely. Just make sure to track for both NPCs and creatures (as no one has convinced me that it falls into either category).

I looked for the Gorax for a LONG time to no avail. Someone once said the Gorax spawn was static but I don't know if thats true. I do know that they supposedly spawn more often in the Northern desert area.

I just wish people wouldn't black out the coords when they took a screenshot of one

I've heard claims of a static Gorax spawn but you would think the loc would have spread. Although the Gorax spawning was a somewhat recent fix (supposedly) so people might just be keeping it secret. I can't personally say because I haven't spent a long time on Endor in a while but I'm fairly sure it wasn't there a while back (I walked over most of Endor [and most other planets] well before speeders and the POI tab showed up and never saw one).

There is a rumor,I have not yet confirmed the validity of this but......

On the load in screen for endor there is a picture and descrption of a Hanadak, and it states that Gorax may be the true masters of the Hanadaks. I have heard if you kill a Stoneskin Hanadak it may make a Gorax spawn. It makes sense to me cause the Stoney was the loneliest creature in game, rarely killed, this may be the reason to kill the guy. (and a supreme pain to kill, huge resists, medium armor, 100k+ HAM)

I can discount that rumor at least as of a about 6-weeks ago. I took down a stoneskin hanadak and did not get a gorax spawn in it's place. I wish it were true, but alas like so many things in this game it is (or least, 'was' not true)

the fires of my gorax hunt have been stoked...

i even sat down and watched the ewok adventure (caravan of courage) just a few minutes ago... if that little band of ewoks and punk kid can take one down, i'm game for the hunt...
