Who else would like to see CH's get poison/disease resists as part of the CURB? We deal with animals that poison/disease us all the time so why wouldnt we build up a resistance to it?

Makes sense to me, perhaps rangers could get a mod for it to? A bonus for dealing with PVE all the time for us people's less fortunate in the PVP realm than others :/.

Well, go out and get bit by a rattlesnake a few times and see if you build up a resistance to it. . .or die.

Seriously,I understand what you are saying, but why should they give CHs a special resistance to toxins that no other profession has? I could see toxin resists being implemented per race, like say Trandoshans being resistant to certain types of reptilian creature venom, but not by profession.

Actually if you didnt die you would in fact build up a resistance to it.

Over the course of a few months to a few years depending on the person and recovery time between bites. Snake Handelers in India (its something like that I remember seeing it on the discovery channel)use snake venom in tatoo ink to give themselves a resistance to the venom. Plus I got a friend who lives out west (went to boarding school with him)who has been bitten by rattle snakes 5 times and is still alive (hes got the bit marks belive me)and has built upa considerable resistance.

True, but remember the snake venom the charmers used is diluted by the ink. Pure venom is lethal to an average human. Just curious, how soon after getting bit did your associate get medical attention or some sort of treatment?

How would it work? Are you suiggesting a modifier based on how often you are poisoned or something in the skill tree?

I'd be more glad if our pets got more natural poison/bleed resistance, I'm fed up with seeing my pet die within 2 minutes when i hunt marauders on endor.

Good point. But im also tired of dying in under 10 seconds whenever I try to pvp because of dots and CMs

He obvious got medical attention as soon as he could but the resistance thing came from the mouth of the doctor.

In all seriousness, there are people in the world that subject themselves to small doses of poisoness venom on a daily basis so that they build up a immunity to the venom. When I was studying biology in college, my professor had been doing this for over 4 years. It is possible but in SWG I don't necessarily thing it is feasible to implement this. Although it is a good suggestion and would probably make us want to PvP more often knowing that we couldn't get diseased or poisoned, but the real fact remains. Whether we get poisoned or diseased, we would still die in a matter of 45 seconds to 2 minutes.
