Hi everybody,
I just had a gurreck made last night with the pure DNA of an Insane Mantigrue Berserker. I haven't tamed it yet. Here are the stats:
Level 55
Roughly 10700 HAM
Light Armor
50 - Kinetic
50 - Energy
50 - Heat
100 - Blast
100 - Stun
20 - Acid
20 - Electricity
Vuln - Cold and Lightsaber
400+ Attack
SP1: Dizzy
SP2: Blind
I was just wondering if it's possible to make this pet even better. Because it's untamed, a BE could still sample the DNA and potentially splice it.
I'd like to know if a BE could increase the Acid and Electricty resists, while maintaining a 90+ resist to Stun and Blast.
This is going to be my PVP/PVE pet, so I want to make sure it's the best it can be before I tame it. I'd definitely like some opinions whether I should let a BE toy with it and, if so, what DNA should they splice with? I look forward to hearing the replies. ^_^

I think that pet seems to be very good as it is and since I lack any knowledge of what a BE actually does this advice may not be the correct one but use it now. It will be very good in many combat situations and can take a lot of damage.

Oooo. I know what that is. It's an exact clone of an insane mantrigrue berserker. Probably hard-to-get DNA since it's a boss mob. I've been researching these and similar creatures to make all-around good pets. I was thinking mixing this with a mantigrue reaper should get you the stats you were hoping for, or close enough. Downside is you'd have to say bye-bye to most of your heat resists and alittle bit of your kinetic/energy resists. You'd end up with around 43%-45% kinetic/energy, 80%-90%stun and blast, with30%-40% acid and electricity if i'm guessing right.

Of course, you'd have to arrange the DNA in the right order for it to come out that way, but meh. Hope that helps.

As a BE i would be very careful about trying to gen that, since its a CL55 the chance of getting 5 samples is pretty slim, and it would truly suck ot get 1 or no samples from it as it is hard to get DNA

I have been a MCH for over a year and I have a friend that is a MBE and as of now, postpet nerf,that is a Nice pet. I have looked at 500+ pets on my server and you are near the top of what I have seen for an all around pet.

Great pet as is. However pets and PvP, no matter how good they are, just don't mix atm.

AoE attacks do not stick at the end of the DNA template crafting process....ever

Dont touch it its a great pet. Allowing a BE to sample it is likely to lead to strife, it could well go *poof* on the first sample.
I have been trying to get that dna for a long time - can you check where it came from - its a boss monster I think - from what type of lair?
If your be friend can get this dna relatively easily then tell him what you want and do it from scratch not as a second gen.

Just tame that puppy. The chances of improving on it are slim to none.
When you take samples from a given creature and recombine, it will inevitably be weaker than the creature you sampled from until you get down to about CL 30 or so where you can basicaly maintian the same stats (shifting them around a bit).
For high level pets, the first combine is usualy your best. Sometimes second gen can be usefull for CL 40-50. Anything above that its first combine or nothing. Bersrerker DNA is stupidly hard to get, so I'd say you have a super rare BE creation there, best not to touch it.

MCH and MBE for almost a year...don't mess with it, you'll loose the strong points without making the weak points much better. Think of splicing as getting averages, if you raise one resist with DNA weak in other areas, it will lower more than you gain.

I'd just like to know how, with pets like those, that any BE can seriously say with a straight face that using wild pets is even worth it anymore.

Its stats are very nice ...altho its specials arent all that great .....mixing it with something like an Arachne queen DNA ......would add poision spary and strong posion ...and without hurting the resistances.
