The following conversation took place moments ago during the stratics chat, between a respected Creature Handler, and you guessed it...The Infamous TH

Rare_Hunter: id ask hows it goin but im sure you are goin crazy
Rare_Hunter: so lets cut to the chase. first question. when do you guys
plan to release the revamp notes?
TH: will talk about it soon
Rare_Hunter: soon meaning...by the end of the September?
TH: unknown, though I will post some details about when we will talk about
it soon.
Rare_Hunter: second question. when do you think the combat sandbox will
begin?
TH: soon =P
TH: we have to get the hardware ready
Rare_Hunter: third question. frenzied grauls have been supposedly tamable
since the December patch. what can you say about there not being a single
baby since then?
TH: they are out there. just rare. they are in high demand and when they
show up, they get adopted pretty quick. we have similar issues on my live
server too. such is the wa with rare stuff.
Rare_Hunter: I'm sorry but I refuse to believe that. *Someone* would prove
us wrong on the forum

Rare_Hunter: i remember seeing a post from you back in February responding
to the "extinct" pets not being fixed with the december patch. You replied
saying you wouldnt assume that they werent spawning babies, but you would
speak word with the producers
Rare_Hunter: Shortly after, the "Tamable" listing in the examine was fixed
and proved they were indeed "Tamable: No"
Rare_Hunter: nothing more was said by the DEV team as to what was being
done to fix that

that its a problem but there wont be any development on that until sometime
after the combat upgrade.

can try to do something in the future, but its all brand new work.

understand how big a problem it is and make my best efforts with the team to

i do agree attackingTH was not the way to gethim to say things, but from what i understand, trying to say frenzied grauls spawn today is like saying that pigs fly....at least, if im interpreting the many, many very long and in-depth threads saying "FRENZIED GRAULS DONT SPAWN!!!!" considering how seriously most of us take this proffesion, i would think by now someone would of at least seen a frenzied graul baby since people already spend months looking for bull rancor babies.
and also, im afraid to point this out since it might cause a flame-fest, but the reason there are no "responsible" CH to talk to TH is because, well, their all banned.

Looks like any documents on the cb are very far away too

I think posting your converstion with him was a mistake. I think you had a golden opp and all you could talk about was the Frenzied Grual, just an opinon, not trying to flame you at all. Just saying that the things you said, then posting the whole converstion here, I don't think it's going to incress the amout of Dev traffic we get here.
Sorry if my comments make you angry, not trying to start a fight. I wounder why he thiks if he posts here it will turn into a flame war, or why he thinks there are no community leaders in CH fourm to keep things positive and on track?
Well if we are honest with ourselves we will see that our boards have become more and more negative, and less and less inviting.
I'm shure I'll be flamed and kicked out of the CH communtiy for life but it's the truth.

i dont think an outright attackon th was the way to go with this conversation it could have been handle a bit more prfessionally that may have gotten abit better response from th. plus the frenzied gual issue as fustrating as it maybe there are a few other issues could have been brought up too.

TH jumped on the defensive so quickly on that one that I'm really beginning to lose my faithin him. You would think that after being on the job as long a he has that he would have developed some thicker skin than that. Rare_Hunter may have been a little pushy, but not enough to be called rude like that.
Oh, and TH, when it comes to dealing with CH's, you should really get used to the idea of hearing a sarcastic remark here and there. Sorry if I'm flaming a little. I try to show respect for the devs, despite their actions. I guess my control slipped a little.

Hmm.
Ok gotta give my honest reaction to this. Very interesting on several points. I agree that Rare_Hunter was bordering on too confrontational IMO, but I do like how he made his passion and desire for our profession clear. I think that carries some real weight. I do not agree that the Frenzied Graul spawn is the best quick hotfix, but at the same time I think that any beneficial CH hotfix would be a great PR move for the devs right now. I think we need something like this to show that we are not forgotten or frowned upon.
I don't get the deal with TH out of the blue asking "who are you?" and "how old are you?" If it was purely as he said later that he wasn't sure whether or not Rare_Hunter was trying to coax a scoop out of TH then so be it and I can understand the concern. It's just that if he'd left it at "who are you?" it would make more sense. The "how old are you?" bit just seems like he was being frustrated and snapping out a little about the confrontation. /shrug No way to know. Text communication is always problematic for this reason. Can't tell how some things are truly meant.
After the back and forth I think that it ended on a relatively positive note. I imagine TH was swamped with chat at that point so some of that might have been just to finish that conversation so he could focus on the next At least it ended more amicably than it might have, had things heated to a full boil.

As a CH I really appreciate that the conversation was shared with us as any meaningful communication with the devs has been non existant for so long. It reminds me that there are people on the other end (SOE) who might just work with us some day. Yeah I know that's pretty darn optimistic, but still hehehe. Now stepping back from CH for a minute I wonder if posting this might have been a little in poor taste. I just can't decide since I'm so wrapped up in CH myself.
Well if nothing else I salute "Rare_Hunter"for really going after this and doing his/her best to not let emotions take over. You had a definite agenda, but it wasn't at all hidden and you stuck to it. Thanks for fighting the good fight for all us crazy Creature Handlers

I am glad it was posted here. Unfortunately, it only served to piss me off and to show me that Thunderheart acts like a child. And it showed me that the onlyresponse Thunderheart can come up with is, "soon."
Frenzied Grauls are not spawning babies. Plain and simple. You can't tell me that after reading that, Thunderheart actually talked to any developer about this issue.
The tone of the conversation wasn't harsh until Thunderheart starting mindlessly spouting his "soon" comments. Besides, who cares if it was harsh anyways?It's not like TH deserves much respect.
Thunderheart. Here is some advice for you. The reason why communication between devs and players usually turns into a flame fest on the CH forum, is because you make retarded remarks, you misinform and you don't get anything accomplished.
Grow up, stop being a coward and then come talk to us...
