Joker you should add known bugs to the thread.
Tellpet only works with commands longer than 3 letters in length
Why does my pet disapear sometimes?
This is a known issue, it is theorised that they warp to 0,0 on the planet you are on but no one has been able to prove it. Because the occurance of this bug is random it is hard to fix and has existed since the games release.
Why do my pets seem to run away?
They are trying to get to the Optimum strikeing range for their creature type. When the creature they are fighting moves closer they have to keep moveing to obtain this range. It gives the appearance of your pet running.
What is a pre-nerf pet?
This is a misnomer. Some people seem to think that because they tamed pets before the creature rebalance of Dec 2003 that the pets will have the stats from prior to this. This is false, all pets were balanced so no legacy pets would exist
What is a CL 0(1) pet?
These are pets that are the result of a bug durring the first part of the revamp of the Bio-engineer profession. They were able to create pets with a CL of 1. They exist in various forms and HAMs. It is debatable whether they are an exploit or not and may be removed from game eventually.

So There Are No Such Thing As Pre-Nurf Pets? Someone Told Me Not To Use Some Of My Pets Cause I Would Get Baned!!!... And If You Know Of Any 100% Res Pets Let Me Know I'm On Bloodfin All The Time.
Also I Need Someone To Look At A Pet I Have. Its Control Device Is The Same Thing As A StormTroopers, But Its A Mutan Baz Nitch.... Whats Up With That?!?!?!
It seems to depend on the CSR you run into if your CL 1 uberpets get taken away or not. I recently spotted three of these abominations on Ahazi, and was told flat out by a CSR that they were NOT exploit pets, contrary to everything I've heard before about them, and all common sense, for that matter.

umm vert and loker this is informative but as pre nerf pet they do exist such as those withfrenzied grauls as you know vert noones tamed one since the ch nerf. and i have a normal rancor that has previous stats and is better than the ones you can tame now withthe exeption of a bull rancor but these pre nerf pet are rare to come by and most of us old time mch's wont give them up easly.
With regard to "extincts" like the frenzied graul, I believe Joker is referring to when all wild animals (including current extincts) had their stats adjusted as part of what is sometimes referred to as the creature rebalance("nerf") of over a year ago. In this case "pre-nerf" would mean having unchanged stats, not unchanged availability.
With regard to really old BE deeds from before the BE revamp, I think some of those are generally considered by the community to be of questionable legitimacy in terms of stats per CL.
Joker9125 wrote:0/0/4/0Gives you several good commands such as Enrage (puts your pets in a berserk state for a short time) and Embolen (gives pets a 15% boost in HAM for a short time) and the ability to train the group command.
actually you only get the trick commands to teach your pets for the mindhealing, the group command is in the management-branch.
i wouldn't really call enrage a "good command" as it hardly increases the damage, pretty ridiculous for a 4th tier skill-command if you ask me.
a lot of information about ch packed into one post, prolly a nice thing for beginners, good job.

Thanks for catching that. I need to edit it
