Thread: Stop!!! CH owns in PvP if you know what you are doing.

Given; CH is very very useless in PvP alone but with a rifelwoman/rifelman template it is unbeatable (havent been beat yet)
All you need to do is follow these guidlines
- Make macro that loops imbune and enrage
- Make macro that loops special attacks
- Get the best cl 35 pets you can buy
- Make shure youre pets are the best!!!
- if you can complete this correctly youre petss will do not crazy amounts of damage but enugh to make the person that you are fighting pay ateention to youre pets and try and kill them =D
- given if he bum rushes you if your well equpted with armor that can defend against whatever youre attackers using
- such as: 80%kin armor for Tk and MHS 30%stun for fencer and rifelman with jawa haven benn able to use because noone uses blast rifels on my server (may be a server thing) but whatever armor is needed for that=D
- This should make you very very very effective in PVP and Uber in PvE
So stop complaining and adapt to the develpment of the game =D

You must have tested this against a wide array of 1 or 2 opponents ....

No offence but if you are a rifleman/riflewoman you don't need pets to be kick ass Pvp.

i have done extensive testing in PVPing pets. your not going to OwNzR PVP with pets. but with looping macros and proper selection of pet specials you wont be automatically slaughtered. pets give the same edge in combat when coupled with an elite skill that defense stackers get from their secondary professions.
it isnt a golden template skill.

Indeed you can send gorts at them with a master rifle setup Ch has nothing to do with you winning this its all your alt skills.

Have ever ever thought that it might be better to make the other professians not suck instead of complaining about the ones that work?

I'm inclined to agree with Tarannis and Talon. You'll note you had Rifleman as your other profession. The two top PVP professions in the game at the moment are Combat Medic and, surprise, Rifleman. This is because they target the (usually) poorly defended mind pool and have incredibly effective specials against it. Frankly, Rifleman/CH is not a combo to be used, since pets generally hit random pools. What you'll be doing is hitting the mind pool andyour pets will only be helping you(assumed average) 33% of the time. BAD PVP template, from what I understand of it. Aside from the fact that your opponent only has to take YOU out to win...

ive done PVP as a masterCH with rifles TKM smuggler and marksmen and CH is a deciding factor when you use their specials in a one to one fight.
yeah you dont need much help with just rifles but every shot that is directed at a pet is one less that i am taking be it PVP or PVE. and the ability to land specials like intimidate that i dont normally have access to is a HUGE bonus.
the damage a pet does is irrelevent in a fight.

And there's the bottom line right there. Some inexperienced n00b that makes the mistake of caring about the pets and shooting at them can make the pets a factor in PvP, but any buffed & armored opponent will treat them as part of the scenery, kill you, and then dispose of the pets at his or her leisure.

if they ignore the pet they suffer from the special moves the pet can do. a pet that can dizzy and posture down endlessly is nothing to be scoffed at neither is one that can intimidate over and over and over. thats the point deal with the owner and suffer the pet specials or deal with the pet and suffer the owner's free attacks.

Show me a pet a TKM can't kill in under 5 seconds. What a bull rancor? That only takes 10 seconds. And no one would use one in PvP.
CH is useless in the GCW, sure we have pet specials but its funny... I was a master pike/MCH at the time, fully buffed and had 64% Base comp armor with a 80% kin helmet. I was using a Webmaster. So i sick'em on this TKM, it lands both specials so hes stunned and poisoned. I'm also doing my Dizzy movedidn't land, imagine that? I did manage to kd him which hte only reason i even scratched him but he gets up.He finished me off fairly quickly then kills the webmaster in like 5 hits in 5 seconds. And then meditates away the poison... What? CH is good in PvP? Zero, i've seen you say some absolutley rediculous things on these boards, almost to where i think you're a complete idiot, and thisthread is certianly pushing me that way. To say CH owns in PvP is ludicrous and deserving of a stoning.

if you use a rancor and loop its intimidate it can take up to a minute for a TKM to kill it.
a BE pet with LA 60% kinetic using a looping intimidate special is about as TK proof as it gets.
