Hi guys, I've been doing a bit of CH grinding the past few days, and I noticed twice

that my pet had bolted out of range. The first time hewas saying he was hungry and

at the time, I wasn't paying too much...then he was gone. I found him and continued to

fight. The second time he ran off I was keeping him well fed, and playing with it as well.

If it matters, the creature is a Eopee from Tat(spelling?) Any idea why they occationally do this?

Thanks for any info you can give...

Sometimes my pet will disapear. I just pack him up and then call him again.

How can I pack him up if he is not even in range any more?

CTRL + D, opens your datapad. Click your pet and choose store from the radial. Then setup a camp and call him/her.

creatures that are naturally aggressive will attack creatures occasionally without you telling them. My Rancor does this too. Jts gotta keep an eye on them.

Occasionally? Try constantly, and despite being told to stay, or follow.

Yup, as I indicated on another thread, this is new behavior. My gurreck is my usual hunting companion, because of the speed superiority over the rancor, but I was talking to a player who was interested in pets south of Coronet, so I put the gurreck away and called out the rancor. Did the usual things, brought him into the group, put him on guard, and he starts wandering off to some nearby mob of Corellian butterflys and goes into the combat mode. I keep spamming /tellpet heel and he comes back, then wanders off again.

Moving back to the city, he was reliably in tow the entire time, but once I came to a halt, just south of the starport gate (small meatlump aggro problem) he keeps wandering off after dealing with the meatlumps to a nearby n00b spawn of durnis. He also went after some luckless paralope who happened to be nearby. All on his own, no command issued to attack, no aggro on me.

I'll have to play with some of the other aggro critters on the pad and see what they do.

I have been having this problem since the last update. It is to the point where I'm hardly even playing anymore.

I spend a lot of time on Lok, where it seems there are lairs and mobs every 25 meters. Sometimes I can hardly go10 meters without one or all of my pets aggro'ing something.

It happens more with higher ferocity pets like my Rhoa Kwi Guardian and Rancor, but even my BE gurrecks are affected.

Has there been any word on a fix for this? Is it even on the list to be looked at?

I've noticed this happening more and more recently. The annoying part is that when I'm fighting a mob, my pets will leave the target enemy and start attacking numerous targets in the area. Next thing I know, I'm getting aggro'd from enemies all over the place. I find myself running for safety more than ever.

Is this a by-product of the last update?

This wasa request by the CH community to make the aggresive pets more aggresive because GPS's weren't behaving at all like they were described as behaving. Being overly aggresive and attacking on their own etc.

However the Dev's went overboard with it and now almost all pets behave the way a GPS should. LOL

There is another post in the CH forums here suggesting a scaleable level of aggresiveness and is what I think the Dev's should put in place to alleiviate the problem.

i.e. Posted by "IForgotMyName"

There should be a more detailed ferocity scale. Anything with a ferocity of 0 will not agro anything, 1-5 will agro things much weaker then it, 6-10 will agro things weaker and the same strength as itself and 11+ will agro things the same strength or slightly stronger then itself, however there needs to be a scale from stopping them attacking krayts, goraxs, etc.
