Thread: Pets running away?
Hi guys, I've been doing a bit of CH grinding the past few days, and I noticed twice
that my pet had bolted out of range. The first time hewas saying he was hungry and
at the time, I wasn't paying too much...then he was gone. I found him and continued to
fight. The second time he ran off I was keeping him well fed, and playing with it as well.
If it matters, the creature is a Eopee from Tat(spelling?) Any idea why they occationally do this?
Thanks for any info you can give...

Sometimes my pet will disapear. I just pack him up and then call him again.
CTRL + D, opens your datapad. Click your pet and choose store from the radial. Then setup a camp and call him/her. ![]()
LOL....didn't even think of that....duuhhh. Grinding numbs the mind. :-p

Yup, as I indicated on another thread, this is new behavior. My gurreck is my usual hunting companion, because of the speed superiority over the rancor, but I was talking to a player who was interested in pets south of Coronet, so I put the gurreck away and called out the rancor. Did the usual things, brought him into the group, put him on guard, and he starts wandering off to some nearby mob of Corellian butterflys and goes into the combat mode. I keep spamming /tellpet heel and he comes back, then wanders off again.
Moving back to the city, he was reliably in tow the entire time, but once I came to a halt, just south of the starport gate (small meatlump aggro problem) he keeps wandering off after dealing with the meatlumps to a nearby n00b spawn of durnis. He also went after some luckless paralope who happened to be nearby. All on his own, no command issued to attack, no aggro on me.
I'll have to play with some of the other aggro critters on the pad and see what they do.
