Will one holocron tell you all the profressions you need?
Im figuring that answer is no

No, once you use a single holocron, it will either tell you what profession you need to master, or it will be silent. Then it disappears. Don't use another holocron until after you master the profession the first one said, it will just say the same thing and you'll have wasted a holocron.

if you use a holocron and it tells you a profession a profession, it will disappear.
if you use another holocron before mastering the first it will tell you the same profession and disappear.
if you use a holocron and it is silent, it will not disappear. it is tradeable/sellable.

if i useda holocron, and it told me to master pikeman, but atm i want to master some other profs (beacause they are easy to master) and after i master the easy ones, go and master pikeman as the holo told me.
will this in any way hurt my chances of getting fs slot? (not mastering the prof holo toldme and instead master something else before getting to the holo prof)

Absolutly not. It will help you much more to master all you desire before going with your Holo Professions.
If you went with your holo profession first, and skipped the one you're about to do, then the holo profession could be your last and the next holo might go silent and that other profession could be the your silent profession, but you would never know till ya mastered it.

you get a silent prof no matter what, so its better to save your easy profs to whip through once you get to your silent holo. Who wants to gring master BH for no reason?

I've used my first holocron which told me to Master Merchant. I'm almost at Master Merchant but have just acquired a new holocron. If I use the new one now (before I master Merchant) what will happen? Will it say Master Merchant or will it say something else I have to master? Any help much appreciated.

If you pop it now it will most likely tell you to master merchant.
Wait untilafter you master the first skill and get the badge before popping the next.

OK, how exactly do these things work. I know you get them, and they give you a hint at what profession you need to master, blah blah blah. But, what if you get more than one at a time. How do you know which one to do first? Does it matter which one you do first? Or not. I know its all vague of how these things work, but i was just wondering if anyone had an ideaif it wasn't good to get more than one holocron at a time. Thanks for any help.

Do not open another holocron. It will say the same thing as the first and you will have wasted your money. Just finish the first one, pray they are basic proffesions and try not to think about your silent holo ;-)

open the first one... then open one of the other color ( if u opened red first open all blues after that ) each time u get a box with the original holocron, that way u will not get silent profession and unlock when u master ur 4th holocron. Have fun... getting a silent profession stinks.. just spend a little more and get rid of it.
If u dont do what i am saying... plz.. make sure , SURE... to come here and ask us "i get a silent holocron, Guess my pattern, plz" in a nice well written post, when u opened ur 5th holocron.
we love to help noobs like urself to guess their silent pattern.
