It's good to be a ranger. I can examine babies to see what attacks, if any, they have. The downside of it is this: the attacks are in programmer's strings. Gotta love that!

I see those, too. But, just because there's an entry for Special Attack, and then a programmer's string, doesn't mean that the animal will have any Abilities.

Hi,


Here is what i got:

Endor:

Toxic Merek Battlelord (lvl 54): No specials


Prowning Gurrek (lvl 55?): No specials


Gurrek (lvl 50): Eye Gouge L2 (Damage is now 81-342, not old 500)


Arachne Drone (lvl 54): Frenzied Blitz L2


Arachne Warrior (lvl 63): Lightning Reflexes L3


Corelia:


Grand Wrix (lvl 21): No Specials (Luck related, since Marlena got Combat Agility L1 and Hunted Withdrawal L1 from those, reported on her post)


Talus:


Greather Sludge Panther (lvl 23): Combat Agility L1


Note: The Gurrek was very hard to find, there were afew 3 creatures spawn with no lair, and i first tried killing them to see if i forced the baby spawn. This time i let themremain alive, toke waypoint, returned, and finaly a baby spawned on the group.

Hmm.... I don't think gaining an ability from a wild pet even requires you to get an experience rollover. I just learned Combat Agility from a Rabid Shauput, after doing 3 fights against Spineflaps. Total of about 2300 XP, no where near even the first XP rollover.

Ah, lol. Gotcha. I thought I remembered reading that you only got them with XP rollovers though, hence the comment. Either I read that somewhere else or its been changed since then.


EDIT: Question on the commands that you added to the list, how do they work? I have a pet that I've taught Eye Gouge (L1) to, and whenever I use the /petBlind command it just comes up with a message "You do not have sufficient abilities to Eye Gouge". The pet is out, targetting an enemy.... can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Teach the pet a command to use the ability, just like the other commands. Triggered abilities are listed at the bottom of the training window.
