Thread: A Guide to the New Pet System (Included Abilites, XP Listings, & How To's)
a verne = Beasty Constitution L.2
a purbole hunter = Frenzied Blitz L.2
Now some questions:
Maturity level & physical size. Out of logic assumptions they shouldn't be tied together, since now (after the publish) every pet should have maturity level 0 or 1, but the size has not changed. (I had several pets in my datapad, which were not fully grown yet, and they still have the exact same size as before the publish)
I'd really like to know if there are any caps on maturity level, phys. size & training slots and if they are tied together.
I.e. if a pet reaches full maturity, will it stop from growing in size and getting training slots???
Or if it reaches full size, will this prevent a pet from gaining maturity and prevent from getting ability slots?
And most important, how many ability slots can one pet have??? Is there a known maximum number?
Another 3 entries:
a mountain dewback = Defensive Agility L.1
a mountain dewback = Cowering Vigilance L.1
a squill = Eye Gouge L.1
I tamed about 20 CL 1-11 creatures, none had an innate ability. The squill did, which is just CL12, so I guess only CL12+ creatures have innate abilities. But that still needs some verification...

Forgot 1 entry:
a brackaset female = Beasty Constitution L.2
Since several creatures give the same abilities (brackaset female & verne, squill & nightspider) and same creatures can give different abilities (i.e. mountain dewbacks), could it be that the abilities are purely random???
That just the ability level is tied to the CL, but nothing more?
Could be like
CL 01-11 = no ability
CL 12-32 = random level 1 ability
CL 32-70 = random level 2 ability
CL 60-70 = possible chance of a level 3 ability

OK, anyone have any idea at all how this is going to affect non-CH mounts?
The growth thing, that is. Will I need to GRIND a lesser dewback to get it to be big enough to carry a saddle?

The only way that a non-CH pet will become large enough to accept a saddle is to level it up.
It takes about30 - 60minutes, when using3 non-CH mounts at the same time, to take down CL15 mobs, while the pets are ungrouped. Or about 20 minutes to level up the same 3 while you are a part of a CL80 hunting party, and the pets aren't grouped.
Endor - A Crimsun Blurrg - Imperiling Feint (L2)
Alliester of Eclipse

I wonder how strong the Vigorous health L3 will be, would be nice if it was to double it, but that would be nuts.
Since L3 requires that you use L1 and L2 first, it could end up looking something like this....
4000 Health + Vigorous Health L1 = 4900 Health
4900 Health + Vigorous Health L2 = 6000 Health
6000 Health + Vigorous Health L2 = 7400 Health
These numbers do not represent the actual bounses, however they do represent the type of increase that we would see.
