I agree with a lot of the list but there is something that I was wondering about. I don't know if it has been said yet but I would like to see my pets heal on there own. When I go hunting and my pet gets incaped I would like to see my pet heal faster. I am not too keene about the fact that when I put an incaped pet away and call it out 2 hours later it isn't anywhere near full health. Thought of another thing. I would like to see larger pets have a command that would make it roar causing like a fear effect either slowing the enemy down or making it unwilling to fight. I think a command like that would be realy neat with a Rancor or other larger and higher lvl pets.

The key issues as I see them:


Storage space. Not necessarily more storage space in your datapad, but SOME sort of stable type building as suggested lots above, or being able to drop pets in your house. A bio engineer can drop the deed holding a pet but a master CH can't shut a pet in their house?


Pets in combat. I have problems with PvP and PvE, in PvP pets are pretty much useless, only good for slowing somebody down for a matter of a couple of seconds. PvE- I watched a stormtrooper take down 2 lvl 35 rancors earlier, by running away a few steps at a time till the pets were confused. It's really more of an issue with the combat system, but a master CH is useless in a fight if the first mob you take on runs off with your pets in tow and disappears over the horizon...



Oh yeah. How about some sort of skills for a CH that would influence wild creatures? Some sort of confusion commands, maybe giving you the chance to aggro a wild creature onto another target? A creature handler should have some influence over the creatures he meets, you think?

woo, nice list. 2 things I'd especially like though.

1. being able to put pets into the bazaar terminal, then getting them back as deeds to put in homes and

2. PHARPLES FOR PETS! WE WANT PHARPLES! Pretty soon I'm going to have to protest outside gamestop and demand Pharples....

I'll side with K-Pup in that I would like pets to regenerate HAM on their own. It gets harder and harder and more expensive when you have pets with 10k HAM, 6-7k of it gone, and a stack of PetStim C's healing for 800HAM each. But if they could regen on their own, it'd make them better overall. Instead of having to store and call another when you don't have time to completely heal the first.

could you add to the list that pets dont follow the stay command well? notice this often going hunting where i tell a pet to stay somewhere, but ends up following me agian after a few seconds.

I think pets need to be more comparable to their natural versions. I have BE pets that are suppior to the natural versions but still tend to loose in battle regularly.

We need to have a way to summon lost pets to us. This system is in place in EQ with items and has pretty much removed the headaches of lost pets.

I would like to see a suspend pet function, or pets. You can buff them or what ever up to what you can manage. Then suspend them as is so you can travel or whatever without loosing them or causing lag as you travel. This is also an ability available in EQ and it works fine. This ability should be usable in buildings, dungeons, where ever reguardless of whether you can summon a new pet there or not. It does not make the CH overpowering as you could have had the creatures out already but game mechanics make it much easier not to.

I think the restrictions about calling pets in buildings should be revisited. I understand how it can be abused but why should a Pisotleer be able to carry 25 different pistols while a creature handler is left completely vulnerable if a pet dies or is lost via game issues like elevators or zones, whatever.

1. a Mountable Flyer would rock, i would love to cruise around on my mantigrue screechers, but i would also like to see it as a CH only thing in a decent level box.


2. Why do my targets always run now? I've noticed this only in the past week or so, but i send my pet to attack a critter and the critter half turns to face the pet, half runs away, rinse and repeat til its a long long way away... and so far the longest has been 400m b4 they stopped....


3. Even in PvE... CH is basically inferior. By the time a CH has called a pet, got it ready and sent it to attack, a Master Swordsman with spin attack has already wasted the entire lair of (insert high level mob).


4. CH is not a combat profession.... its a support profession, that is as useless as everything else thanks to 80% resistant armor and buffs, why do you need a pet to tank for you, when you're already nigh on invincible? Thats just a game thing thats supposed to be fixed with the combat upgrade..... we'll see...


5. Mounted combat... its non existant. If a pet runs over an NPc thats attacking you, why cant they do damage to it just the same as if you got run over by a bull in real life?

- I want armor for my pets .. a durni in Composite would look really cool

- Vibro Knucklers for my rancors

- Storage in the mountable pets

- Cages ..... to trap animals , and be able to sell them on a vendor

- A stable near my house to store pets ...

- more personality in a pet ..... like mean pets that aggro you, so you gonne have to shoot them...

I want all vitality on pets in datapad set to 100% when combat upgrade goes live its the least they can do after what we have been through in the last year. and considering most vitality loss is caused by bugs that send us to the cloner

My pet peeve is that my pets have Zero regen. And as i never go the route of getting doc buffs i essentially have to load up on stim b's and pet stims and alternate on those during battle if my pet gets too low on health. but if its health is too low at the end of a fight i gotta swap it out with my next pet until its hp gets too low for me to effectivly heal, ect, ect.. I'd like this to be considered. I dont think this is too unbalanced cause in a worse case seniaro however long it takes for me to fully regen after getting incap'd i'd see no problem for it taking my 10k pet needing 10x as long to fully regen.

Would make sense to add the skill "animal calm" that is in the force powers tree to Master CH.
