I would like to take the ideas from my post and get them togther for a more fleshed out look at the ideas but where can you post something like that without it getting burried 7 pages by tomarrow? Once I see what you and Pluto come up with I'll try to revise some of my ideas and put them in the proper spot.






I ran inot a slight problem, you see I got banned from the forums so seeing hwo i couldn't get this thread I couldn't work on it. I jst printed up the whole thign and will try to have it finished by Monday

Let all healing and combat leader actions be done from a mount.


Any time a person on mount is attacked there will be a pecentage change that mount will take the damage rather than the rider based on creatures CL.


Let BEs make creature power ups for creature offense.


Let armorsmith make Creature Armor.


Add specials that can only be performed from a mount. Example: From a dewback or other large mount, you could "rampage". While you were rirding, the creature would run through a group of enemy doing 2x aoe damage with chance to stun opponents.


Allow pet to attack while rider is attacking.


Make gallop a toggle on off with no recovery time. When its on, you nor the creature can attack (like on a speeder). When its off, the creature will slow for combat.


AOE sheild generator vs specific damage type.


Large mounted weapons designed to attack turrets or AT-ST type vehicles.







Icould think of many more.

Wow, I love it. Some of these ideas have been brought up before. The gallop toggle idea is great. No attacks while galloping. I also love the "rampage" attack. I thought most larger mounts should have a similiar type of attack with a chance of stun or maybe posture change.

Creature Armor would be awesome.


Think of a shield generator on a Fambaa or a Torton....cool.

tbh Id be happy with the creature armour sod the shield gen, these are meant to be our pets :/

Squad Leaders should be able to do everything from a mount, maybe even get bonuses for it. Its very traditional to have a mounted leader in charge of ground troops.

Sort of adding on to the /charge idea and the melee being able to use specials while mounted and all that stuff...I think it would be a good idea for a knockdown to occur whenever hitting a non-mounted opponent while mounted. And also, put an end to this, "Your mount slows down to prepare for combat" crap. If anything, our mounts should be pumped up and ready to kick some buttocks once combat is entered


And kind of off-topic, yet not really since it has to do with PvP: Stuff like rancor, malklocs, fambaa, tortons, torturs, grauls, and other hard-A creatures should be un-knockdownable, and surely should have a chance at knocking down their target with each attack. In addition, all creatures (except stuff like gnorts, gubburs, jaxes, etc.) should have massive counter-attack skill mods. I mean, if you're gonna run up to a torton and try to punch him in the face, A) you couldn't jump that freaking high, and B) he'd stomp the living crap out of you before you could say, "oh crap." (well, if the game had some logic in it, that is) You know what I'm sayin'?!
