Well at least I seem to have something about right, to be honest a bull rancor isnt the best choice of rarest of all or even top tame - its only the next more poweful rancor from plain rancor, there are many more above it in the food chain, like enraged, ancients, nightsister versions, and more.

I think the problem might be the Area attack special, it seems commonest aspect of rares and also isnt BE makable which makes it the only aspect of tameable creatures that is unique.There are other rares but none have anything unique about them that a BE couldnt make a better version of.

Does this therefore make the prospect of an area attack special the most important aspect of CH usage, are they THAT good to use?????? Is this why they are so rare - do the Devs wish to keep this unique abilty from becoming common among players.

Personally out of ignorance perhaps I would like to see a lot more pets available from wild in the cl60 to cl70 range, perhaps the joyous pleasure of taming a rare can become slightly altered to the joyous pleasure of taming an absolute nightmare of a pet to tame.

Thought I'd bump this arguement for the sake of lurkers...(TH)

Rare Drops [i mean hella , super duper rare 1-10,000 rare] really screw the working adult players. Why? because I can only play 2 hours a night due to family obligations. By the time I get to dathomir or endor , get buffed and get to the wilds where the rares spawn, I only have about an hour and change to play. The drop rates on rare bull rancors, gps, screechers,maliginant squills, and thune grassland guardians must be astronomical because I have never seen any of these rares in the wild as babies or with a ch in any town on the Intrepid server. What that means for me is I will never be able to find one . I can barely kill a bull rancor adult and to wipe out a whole lair would take me 1/2 hour and a ton of healing packs. So these folks who say they have taken out 450 bull rancor lairs and havent found one make me realise that the 225 hours of straight rancor killing they put in did not produce a baby,and I will have to play for 113 days killing only rancor lairs [this is assuming there is no time spent searching for them and that the lairs are all next to each other and I can actually play for 2 straight hours and have time for travel and buffs].

Why is this fair to any of us? Casual players have no chance of getting any rares unless the fortune gods smile on them and they find one by accident-- like I did with my prowling gurrek, roha kwi pack leader and gaping spider queen.

If Vert cares as much about Creature handling as he says he does, then maybe he will step down and let someone else take a crack at this thing. His term of service hasn't helped us unfortunately.

So, now. It is going over the 9 month mark here soon. Jet packs are beginning to be crafted. People are becoming force sensitive in droves and many of us still have yet to find a Bull Rancor (baby) after all this time. Does it make sense? Of course not...

SOE Throw us a bone! Make the Bull rancor spawn 1/100 PLEASE!! Same with screechers.

Bones are out for now as it seems (at least till CR is out, or whatever it will be called when it will be released).

I'm just at 27 bull rancor lairs right now. Way to go of course. But since the number of CH is sure thrinking the drop rate of raries should maybe be upped as well (simplest of all logics).
